No connection issues. Works perfect with Alexa.

Works as expected. Would be good to have proper instructions for pairing with Echo Plus, but once I figured it out, it works well.

I returned the two units as I did not want to add another hub to my Echo system. The requirement for a special hub is easily overlooked when purchasing and not common to many of todays Echo east to connect appliances.

This dimmer works great with incandescent bulbs, but I wanted to use it with a string of LED bulbs. When plugged in to this dimmer the LEDs would never fully turn off! When the switch was off, the LEDs would still glow faintly.

Great product and does exactly what I purchased it for (dimming light fixtures with ECHO).

Did not work properly with my HAI / Leviton Zigbee 3.0 81A00-3 hub. It would send the proper on & off statuses back to the hub when I pressed the manual button on the device, but it would not accept on & off commands from the hub so no remote control, which is what I purchased it for! Got Levitons plug in Zigbee module and was up and running in 3 minutes. All on and all off still didnt work with my Omni IIe, but you can fix that by adding a programming line when all off turn all 16 Zigbee modules off. This GE module is going back to Amazon!

I should have looked and read the info more carefully. This will only allow control for a device that doesnt have a ground plug. The passthrough has it but the control side doesnt.

Unit will randomly shut off the light, at which point it becomes unresponsive to Alexa. However, if you shut off the lamp, using the lamps own switch, and turn it back on, the light lights up and it remains responsive to Alexa until the next random time it decides to flake out. I will be buying a different brand next time.

Im running my home automation via a Smarthings hub. This switch was painless to discover and integrate (which is more than I can say for many other devices in the array). Functionality is terrific. Plug any old light into it, and you can control/dim the same way you would a smart bulb.

Followed the install but the APP does not work and the update will not install. wasted time and money. I will try to return and get something else.
