Followed the install but the APP does not work and the update will not install. wasted time and money. I will try to return and get something else.

I bought this device with the intention of being able to remotely dim two table lamps on either side of my living room couch, but didnt realize only one outlet is ZigBee controlled, while the other is a straight-through always-on outlet. I wound up buying a similar device by Enbrighten that does state both outlets are ZigBee controlled and dimmable (albeit not independently). Something else to note is that this device (and my replacement by Enbrighten) are both rebranded JASCO units, who is also a name brand in this market.

Works well until you try to turn them off. They dont turn off all the way. I dont have this problem with normal filament bulbs...but mine are all LED now. So when I turn my lamps off, they still glow like a few watts are still flowing. And it isnt some residual charge that gradually goes away...mine remained glowing for hours. Was impossible to sleep in bedroom with my lights all glowing.

Connects to SmartThings easily. I would prefer a single outlet dimmer but this one is double so it is large

East install. Works well with Echo Plus. Dims Edison like bulbs, no problem

It seems like this product needs some minimum power level to work. I tried to use it with LED Christmas tree lights, but it appeared to have trouble dimming them. I know that the LEDs can be dimmed because the IoT device I used last year, which I packed in a box we put mistakenly packed in a POD, worked just fine.

I do not have the patience. I use it as a manual dimmer. Or rather I did until a power surge seems to have taken that functionality away

Very easy to set up and it works flawlessly.

I bought a Smart Dimmer Plug-In 2-Outlet Lighting Control to work with my Xfinity Home. Paired perfectly, worked with the app, and rules.

It is great because there is no app needed so set up is easy. There is also a non switched plug on the other side which has been very helpfull!
