Surge Protector seems to be really well made. A couple comments about a flimsy cover had me concerned, but I found the cover to be adequate, and should be durable. Impressive packaging, highly recommend.

This surge protector would not work with charging system on my 2023 Thor Tellaro camper van. Reached out to GearGo support and NO response. Had to return to Amazon.

8000 Joule rating far surpasses any others Ive seen. And, at about half the cost, makes this a great option!

So far used it twice after receiving it. Using the green lights really helps me understand it was safe. For the easy use and price, I highly recommend it.

On the few occasions we plug our campervan into a camp site, we use this for peace of mind. It is small enough to store and the orange color is easy to spot. The design is straightforward and the device is plug and play.

I like the testing feature to check multiple issues with the shore power before hooking to RV.

We had to replace our RV surge protector, so I found this one on Amazon. I was not disappointed! It has very high surge protection at 8,000 joules (my old one was only 4,000). It also has a circuit analyzer so you can be sure your power pedestal connection is ok. My only negative comment is the cord is pretty long, and due to its weight and gravity it can pull your plug away from the outlet slightly. This only happens in an RV park that has a lot of traffic and the power pedestals get used a lot (I was just in one of those).

I bought based on other peoples experience. Looks to be well built. I will be using for my travel trailer this summer

I use this 30AMP surge protector with my 2021 Keystone Hideout travel trailer. This unit has a high surge protection rating, weatherproof cover and a circuit analyzer with LED indicator lights. The surge protector is easy to install. Plug your adapter in, verify the green LED indicator light, connect your trailer connection to the 30AMP surge protector. Like I said. So far the 30 AMP Surge Protector by GearGo has worked great. If that ever changes I will leave an update here. Enjoy!
