> 3 dayI had few smart plugs already, I dont want to buy too many different brands and searching for gosund plugs and couldnt find it. And I went to their website, the price is about the same but I need to pay over $35 to get free shipping and I didnt want to buy other stuff. So amazon here is better because I can buy this along with other stuff free shipping. Putting all plugs in gosund app will be easer to manage, and Alexa also works with this one.!

> 3 dayAfter getting it connected to Wi-Fi, it worked good but only for 2 or 3 days. Then it would dis-connect from internet/router and I would have to get it back on internet again. Worked good with Google and Alexa but just would stay connected. This happened 4 times B4 I returned it.

Greater than one weekI didnt like the full access you need to give to all personal info to a powered switch to all contacts and google info, especially when no other software works with this switch. Invasive, and only mildly effective. They have access to too much info for a timer switch. It plainly says Alexa integration, but I cannot figure out how to make this work.

> 3 dayI have a gazillion of these things all over the house. These work exactly as they should through SmartLife. However there isn’t an option to send you a push notification that it succeeds turning on/off.

> 3 dayEasy to setup and integrate with Alexa and so convenient for use of lights in the winter time or while away. you can set up schedules/timers for off and on. I also use it for the heat lamp for my daughters rabbit cage as I dont stay at home seven days a week. Its incredibly helpful.

> 3 dayPurchased for an elderly grandparent in a nursing home. 20 minutes into installation attempt I learned that it will only connect to 2.4ghz Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi in the nursing home is 5ghz. There are instructions for configuring the router, but you have to have access to it. This device is useless in this situation. Also, making it work with Alexa requires downloading the proprietary app, setting it up, and then adding a skill to your Alexa app to operate the plug. If this sounds overly complicated maybe spring for the Amazon brand plug.

18-12-2024I spent a half hour trying nearly every plug in the house but the stupid thing would never connect to my wifi. It would either time out or fail to connect. Complete waste of time and money.
