Gosund app has a fatal flaw. Works 0% of the time. Smart Life app works perfectly. Nice looking. Too big to have more than one in an outlet.

Purchased for an elderly grandparent in a nursing home. 20 minutes into installation attempt I learned that it will only connect to 2.4ghz Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi in the nursing home is 5ghz. There are instructions for configuring the router, but you have to have access to it. This device is useless in this situation. Also, making it work with Alexa requires downloading the proprietary app, setting it up, and then adding a skill to your Alexa app to operate the plug. If this sounds overly complicated maybe spring for the Amazon brand plug.

Haven’t been able to pair it to Alexa but the app works

After getting it connected to Wi-Fi, it worked good but only for 2 or 3 days. Then it would dis-connect from internet/router and I would have to get it back on internet again. Worked good with Google and Alexa but just would stay connected. This happened 4 times B4 I returned it.

They operate under 2.5 G. When using wifi- you have to downgrade the network to 2.5 g from 5 g.

I bought several of these over the last year or so and they have proven reliable.

I’ve spent a few hours currently, but have yet to have it turn on the lamp. That’s all it has to do. I’ll have to hire someone to try to see if it works!

Works great with Google Home controlling outside lights

So much to like about theses lil plugs. Great price for a 4 pack. Easy integration using the very very well designed App (or Alexa). Nice and sturdy construction. Easy to understand and execute directions. Overall a very quality product absolutely worth buying.
