This is a very well-made, striking doodad, but as a USB stick, it runs way, way to hot to be relied on for any kind of continuous use. Maybe a grab and go, but thats about it.

Works fine both visually and as a fully functional flash drive, and only took 10 days shipping time to California. This is a great gift for audio enthusiasts who have or aspire to have tube-amps, or electronics geeks with vintage equipment, or just regular folks with a PC who like unusual stuff. I chose the orange flavor because it most closely resembles the appearance of actual tubes. The audiophile friend I gave one to really gets a kick out of it.

Yes, its a bit of a novelty, but for a guy my age who grew up with tube radios and amplifiers this Pentode radio tube/32GB SanDisk flash drive is great. The little wooden stand is nice as well. It made it thru shipping just fine.

This product does take a few weeks to receive but in my opinion its worth it, great gift for a radio tube enthusiasts

This was a really cool thumb drive but... This was totally my fault, but I had forgotten to take them out of my jeans and left them in the wash, when I came back it was all smashed up! Broken glass and pieces everywhere. LEDs still function though. I didnt even consider the glass casing around the tube, I can imagine dropping it on the ground would break it as well. Anyway, just wanted to warn/remind people to treat this as an actual vacuum tube and not a thumb drive.

I plugged it in and didn’t have to wait for it to warm up! :) i haven’t worked on tube circuits in years and I bought it cause I thought it looked cool. Oh and it worked just fine with my PC.

Awesome! It lights up the second you plug it in. I was hoping it would blink as you stored data on it, but it doesnt, no worries because it still looks so cool plugged in to my computer. This is a must have for any Steampunk enthusiast or anyone who loves having a bit of sci-fi flair to their data transfering needs. Id be happy to answer any questions anyone may have. Its beautifully crafted. It looks great sitting on my desk on the included stand and equally as good plugged into my desktop with its warm, orange glow. Well worth the cost and the wait to get here!

Works great and my friend loved it. For those that might be concerned, the usb drive was completely empty and there was no malware on it.
