Excellent quality very durable and lot of room

It works really good for a carry on item, you can easily have it for a 2 or 3 day trip. The quality is very good.

This is one of my favorite products - because it is so clearly designed with the customer in mind. I use it for weekend trips and have used it as my default bag during a career in consulting for Monday-Thursday travel projects. This duffel fits in smaller overhead bins of regional jets that do not fit a rollerboard, which was a key selling point for me when considering it for business travel. The bag itself is sturdy, durable and stylish. One of the best features is the pocket for storing shoes separately. For weekend trips or business trips where I would like to exercise, this pocket allowed me to store my running shoes and workout clothes and socks separately from my dress clothes which were folded neatly inside the body of the duffel. Overall its a great bag. I own one myself and have bought one for another family member as a gift when they began a career that involved short business travel.

This duffle (while on the expensive side) is extremely well made. It arrived in pristine condition (new, as advertised). The duffle takes abuse while simultaneously looking fantastic. The shoe compartment is a cool addition (have yet to need it at the airport, or something). Initially I wasnt sure about the pinkish interior but after using it I can say the color scheme works well. As far as how to use it and what to put in it, Id imagine anyone looking for a duffle bag wont have a hard time figuring it out. I can put several undershirts, a pair of jeans, a pair of dress shoes, a toiletry bag and a random assortment of electronic gear in it and head out the door quickly. I wont hesitate to get a bigger duffle from Herschel Supply Co. in the future, or one for my wife.

The bag is fine, very nice! However, the shoulder strap did not come with it.

We bought as a gift for Grandson who will be doing some commuting 60+ miles by car and this will be perfect to take for just am overnight stay.

The Too Long; Didnt Read TL; DR Version Purchased as an extra set of luggage for vacation (bought the Raven Crosshatch - grey exterior and red interior). The Good - Can fit as a carry-on on flights. - Looks great (depending on the skew you pick). - The long strap balances the luggage weight well on your shoulder. - The bag holds a sizable amount of stuff (surprisingly). The Bad - The short handle is not ergonomic. Only meant for short distances and not on hikes. - Expensive. - The lining between the exterior and interior of the bag is thin. Is it worth it? If you like an aesthetically pleasing bag and do not care for its practicality then this is a bag for you (like many of the Herschel products). Need a long-term workhorse of a duffle bag? Then we suggest looking elsewhere.

I use this as my “overnight” bag for work. I carry it almost every day. It’s made very well like everything else from Herschel. This bag gets tossed in and out of the trunk of my car on a near daily basis and it doesn’t have one blemish or tear in it. As for the space, I am able to keep a replacement uniform as well as day and night outfits for the next day and a cosmetics bag comfortably in the main compartment. If you are going to put shoes or boots in it, then you’ll have space for about 2 complete outfits rather than 3. The inside mesh pocket is a great place for chargers and a couple bottles of daily medication. The outside accessed lined pocket will work well for dirty laundry or shoes if you need it to, but obviously it’s going to diminish the available space inside the bag. I don’t use the lined pocket often. The handles and shoulder straps are well made and sturdy as is the main zipper. I have had this filled to the brim a few times and noticed the strong stitching in the zipper. I don’t regret this purchase one bit. In my opinion, most other duffle bags are smaller with poorer quality. Any bigger and this bag wouldn’t be so functional and easy to carry. It’s perfect.
