> 24 hourI have been on the hunt for an inexpensive 1440p high refresh monitor for some time. When this popped up for $180 on the amazon treasure truck I snagged it without a second thought and I have zero regrets. 1440p has so much more real estate that 1080, and 27 is the sweet spot for this resolution in my opinion. And the high refresh is just so fluid from the standard 60hz monitors. Top it off with a nice IPS panel and backed by a name brand like HP and it is the best budget 1440p monitor hands down. Not to mention it included a nice stand with vertical movement and rotation, which is usually unheard of in this price range. My only complaint would be that is only has a single hdmi and single display port and no built in speakers, but that is very minor.

> 24 hourGot two of these for my first computer build in ten years! Beautiful picture quality, and not a bad looking monitor either. Took a star off because these dummies didnt include a power cable for one of the monitors. Cost me an extra $8 and one less day of gaming... first world problems.

> 24 hourThe power button and all of the controls are on the back of the monitor, not even near the edge so you can sort of reach under or around to get to them. Its like someone intentionally placed them in the hardest to reach location. Im frustrated that I cant easily turn these off at night when I want to shut down or put my computer to sleep. Other than that, theyre fine. The tiny bezels mean theyre very nice side by side. They seem bright and crisp and so far Im happy but I havent played anything intense on them yet.

> 24 hourThis is a good monitor and especially at the current price point and will definitely work for some but I received the BOE panel twice in a row and even after being reassured by Amazon customer service that I will get the LG one after the initial return, my second monitor was also the BOE variation of the panel. It really sucks that they would put out a product that is basically a gamble and a ton of wasted time and money (in my case at least). I tested it and the colors on it look horrendous. I installed a ICC profile that shouldve fixed the color issue and played around with OSD settings a lot as well as followed instructions by youtubers and others on the internet but could not make the screen look any better. I have to say thou, if you are going to exclusively use this for gaming, it might be worth the shot because I played a few matches of PUBG on it and it looked quite good with the 1444p resolution and high refresh rate. Its hard to say no for this price but I am returning it for the second time and will be getting a mid-range priced monitor to avoid any more headaches. This probably used to be a great monitor back in the day when more LG panels were available but HP decide to cut corners and started making a lot more with the BOE panel apparently, its hard to get the LG panel nowadays it seems.

> 24 hourDunno if I got lucky or what, but I got an LG panel and its basically perfect. Zero ghosting (I think that recent review complaining about ghosting has their settings wrong - setting Response Time to level 4 will introduce overshoot, I recommend setting it to level 2. Or theyre using variable refresh rate, which I havent bothered using yet), good colors + brightness, no dead pixels, and minimal backlight bleed. Only annoyances Ive had with it is: It installs Omen Gaming Hub on your PC automatically, completely unasked for (I uninstalled it and it never came back). Red colors are a smidge over-saturated and its difficult to reign it in with the settings. Though it may just be my old secondary Dell monitor, which looks a bit gray and washed out, in comparison. Otherwise, 100% recommended for anyone looking for a high refresh rate 1440p IPS panel monitor around $200, that doesnt have the awful VA panel black smearing that cheaper high refresh rate usually have (havent seen a single other monitor like this around $200 that isnt a VA panel). You also usually dont see fully height-adjustable stands at this price point, either. So I was a bit skeptical buying it for only $200. Wasnt expecting much considering the brand and the price, but Im pleasantly surprised. Update: I tried out Freesync, and it actually works better than the dedicated Gsync module in my old monitor. There is some very slight overshoot ghosting, but you really have to look for it to notice it.

> 24 hourThis is a great monitor I have no complaints. Edit 5/29/23 Ive started noticing some flickering issue with certain games when I have free sync enabled and am getting more fps than the refresh rate. So for example its noticeable in some games menus where fps can just basically sky rocket into the hundreds easily if its not capped, there is some flickering. Most modern games have a fps cap when at the main menus but not all. I cant say its an issue for me but maybe something to consider if your looking into this monitor.

> 24 hourLets go straight to the point. Pros: -165Hz (Display Cable only). -Good picture quality. - Good color Vivid. -1440p resolution. -27inch is prefect size for gaming. Con: - Colours out of the box is not great. You need to change or customize it to get the best out of it. -Everytime you touch the HDMI or display cable it turns off the screen and it comes back up again. -Theres a little dull color area in the right side of the monitor. its very small and you dont really notice it when you are watching movies and playing games. -Also I one dead pixel (Not too bad)
