If Only It Were True

This book touched my heart on many levels. I wish it was longer and that some of the secondary characters/relationships were expanded. It was a heart-felt treasure and I know my mind will come back to this story. Thank you, Mr. Levy

I liked the story interactions between the characters and how hard it was to put the reading of the book down. I really liked the time changing years and how the end surprised me. I really like Marc Levys books.

Really fun book on CD to listen to. Good story line with good narration. Great memorable quotes throughout the book. I actually listened to it twice.

Was looking for a book from when I was 16, found it ordered it got her in 3 days in great condition and fast!!! I was amazed. I am defiantly going to buy from this seller again. Try it out it is so worth it. :)

I like this fable set in the cities of San Francisco and Carmel. Must believe in fairytales to read this book.

Story caught my I interest from page one but found the ending disappointing. Felt there were several things left untold.

I greatly looked forward to reading this book, the basis for the movie Just Like Heaven. I had read the reviews saying the book read more like an incomplete screenplay than a book. I agree with those reviews in part. The book move along with a nice storyline for pages at a time, then a few passages of non-idiomatic English or inaccurate cultural details utterly destroy the readers immersion. If you liked the movie, I recommend reading this book, a fuller version of the movie with some completely different plot points. If you didnt see the movie, you can skip this book in favor of one of the authors better written works.

Love this book series. I read PS Paris first and loved it. Then I found this one and realized it preceded it. This is the book of Arthur meeting Lauren (Pauls friends from PS Paris). The book that follows (Finding You) is of Lauren and Arthur reuniting, unfortunately, that one is not available in English at Amazon. Only the Spanish and French version.
