> 24 hourDoes exactly what it should. I could complaint maybe on the thermals a bit since Intel uses solutions that have less thermal conductivity than what we like to get from an Intel product, or the fact that the CPU comes with a cooler that you should never use with this processor and a good aftermarket cooler is a must, BUT hey it does what it should.

> 24 hourEingebaut, Standarttakt belassen und einen Benchmark gestartet. Wow, geht diese CPU ab. Aber da habe ich doch schon was davon gehört, dass sich diese CPU so richtig heftig übertakten lässt. Also ran ans Werk:

> 24 hourNot a gamer. Custom build for Photoshop and Lightroom primarily. If it can handle that others a piece of cake. Photoshop and Lightroom do access all the available threads so workflow much faster than past ancient i7 in old desktop.

> 24 hourThe i7 8700K was good when I got it shipped, but it failed just recently, after only 8 months of normal usage (never overclocked, nor does the CPU temperature ever exceeded 60 degrees). Intel processors usually lasts a good number of years until they started running slow but never failed on any of my other computers. However, this one I got about 8 to 9 months ago really is the one that ever failed on me. I will be consulting their customer service to ask for service on repair or replacement. I will update the review again when I do hear back from their customer service team.

> 24 hourHigher per core overclocks and performance than a 9900K, so better performance in single core applications like most games and the Adobe Creative Suite programs. I ran mine at 5.2 GHz 1.39v for 18 months straight with no issues.
