> 3 dayI had trouble with this kindle right from the start(my second one of this type). the battery played up right from the start and could not connect to internet etc. I brought this up with AmazonSupport team while it was still under guarantee, but they do not supply replacements internationally although you can buy them internationally. The team said they would refund the price of the unit to me, which unfortunately does not seem to have happened. I consider this really bad practice and extremely poor service

> 3 dayWhy I cannot order the All-new Kindle Oasis - Now with adjustable warm light - 32 GB, Graphite - Free 4G LTE + Wi-Fi (International Version - Vodafone) to Portugal. When I choose it, I get the information, that the item ships to Portugal. Then, when I want to checkout, the system displays, that the item does nor ship to my Portuguese address.

> 3 dayMy friends and I were so excited to get this kindle because of the screen size. We were disappointed upon receiving the device. The battery for this kindle is worse compared to the paperwhite, and the auto-brightness didnt even work half the time. I want a kindle that has a big screen but has a better design. One of my friends from the school received the nook glowlight plus. I love the design of the glowlight because the back as mat feeling and it isnt slippery. I think the kindle should behave the same back as the paperwhite but just bigger like plus size and you can put the page-turning button on the device. I would it if amazon would great a kindle like a glowlight plus. I dont want to switch over the nook to get the experience I am looking for in a reader. I am sorry to say but I returned the ereader and I am just using the paperwhite.

> 3 dayThe E-reader has allowed me to replace some of my physical books, and ebooks can be purchased at affordable prices. The only issues i have with My Kindle are that of the battery life and the screen hangs at the screensaver page. The batter can never be 100% fully charged. When I received the Kindle brand new, the first charge was 99% max. After 7 months of use, the max charge had dropped to 97%. I’m not a heavy user - I don’t use my Kindle daily (about 3 to 4 times per week or may not even use it for a whole week) and usually not more than an hour per use. With this usage patter, the battery life will drop about 30+% per week. And each time after I am done with my reading, I will go back to the home page and lock at screensaver page before I close my cover. But once awhile when i want to restart my reading, my kindle will hang at the screensaver page. At times, the battery will go completely flat. Overall I think Kindle could be better if they are able to resolve the battery and hanging screensaver issues.

> 3 dayI never had a Kindle before, and I was seriously against the idea of changing from books to an e-reader until I realized that traveling around with my books was unpractical. It took me a while to get the courage to buy it and I have to say I love it! I ordered it to Colombia since Amazon doesn’t sell it directly here and I initially thought it was expensive. However, it was a great purchase, the screen doesn’t bother me as my laptop does and the size is just perfect. The battery has a great performance too.

> 3 dayHave owned several kindles from the original USA version and now the new oasis so you could say I am a fan, all are still in good working order except the original oasis which was bought when it first came out. This kindle just died, fortunately just before prime day, so was able to purchase the latest top of the range for a very good price. It’s slightly larger than the original and one piece rather than the cover and battery of the previous version, which once I started using found I much preferred. It seems faster and the lighting which can be adjusted to your own preference is great. All in all as far as I am concerned a great buy, and looking forward to many hours of reading. One thing you do need a cover for protection but think the amazon one is overpriced, you can pick a good cover on Amazon that works just as well for a fraction of the price. ,

> 3 dayId upgraded from Paperwhite 2. The display is great with warm light. I always have some warm on even during the day. Screen resolution 300 ppi is sharp. Noticeable upgrade from Paperwhite 2 which is only 221 ppi. Backlight is smooth in brightness across the screen. Battery is worse than Paperwhite. I read 2-3 hours a day and have to recharge every 2-4 days. (Most of the time with WiFi/cellular on. Well, at least it is better than mobile phone. Cellular is great for travel. Good for one hand. Reversing the button may help achieve better grip. Worth the price if you read a lot.

> 3 dayThe forward and backward buttons simply dont work. The battery is empty in less than an hour from full charge. I want a refund and I dont want to buy kindle products ever again. My last kindle, the first gen paperwhite was much better.
