Janome Plastic Bobbins for All Home Use Models

> 3 dayI bought an extra set of bobbins for my Janome sewing machine and they are just perfect for my sewing needs! I prefer to buy the Janome brand because a friend of mine used the cheaper ones and it damaged her sewing machine, caused jams and irregular stitches even after tension was adjusted. As soon as I opened and inspected the package, I wound my threads right away and store them in my bobbin case which I also bought from here. I use these bobbins for different types of threads, some of which are elastic threads, polyester, cotton etc. On a slightly off-topic note, I bought my bobbins from Kens Sewing and Vacuum Center and they were indeed genuine Janome bobbins! The carded bobbins set are of a different part number from the individual pieces from Janomes website. My local Janome authorized dealer also offer to sell these bobbins by piece, since most of these authorized sellers buy wholesale. If you want the carded ones, youre probably better off contacting the seller first and asking them if they have the carded ones and provide them the part number. The Janome carded set and the bobbins do cost more from my local authorized dealer so $6 from Amazon and free shipping from Kens is a great deal. Im very happy with this purchase. Im not affiliated with Kens.

> 3 dayThese bobbins came in a carded package that looked very much like the default picture. When I took the bobbins out, however, I compared them to the genuine Janome bobbins that came with my machine and the ones I got in New York where Janome machines are regularly sold , and... they are NOT the same. I still have yet to determine if they work okay with my machine, but I am disappointed to find that I did not get the standard Janome bobbins this seller claims to sell. These bobbins are slightly bigger (1 mm), and have a yellow tint in the plastic, whereas my original bobbins have a blueish tint. These are DEFINITELY NOT the Janome bobbins that come with most Janome machines (Ive been in multiple sewing classes that use different models of Janome, and so far all models have used the same interchangeable bobbin). I am not a Janome official so I am reluctant to give a definitive statement, but based on all of my experience with Janome machines, these are not Janome bobbins. It also took a over a week to get them - I think I am normally spoiled by Amazon with their speedy shipping.

> 3 dayThe reason I ordered this was because Janome accessories are hard to come by in my area. I have used generic bobbins when I could get them but much prefer to use the “real thing”. I was really happy to find them on Amazon and at a reasonable price.

Greater than one weekI have numerous bobbins that look very similar to the Janome brand. However when I use them, the stitches are loose. The Janome Bobbins produce very uniform stitching. I concluded I cannot use a generic brand in a Janome Sewing Machine.
