Janome Plastic Bobbins for All Home Use Models

These are a necessary accessory for anyone who sews a lot. Changing threads from project to project is much easier if a bobbin is already loaded or if an empty bobbin is available rather than stripping off a bobbin with the wrong thread on it. I might have found these somewhere cheaper - but at sixty cents each, free shipping, and the convenience of delivery to my door how could I resist. I might also add that delivery was only 3 days, during the Christmas season.

I have a Janome sewing machine but no longer live near the sewing center that sells Janome products and services. I learned with my older machine of another brand that it is best to purchase same-name sewing machine products. These bobbins are exactly like those that were supplied with the new machine. The additional bobbins allow me to have several wound with different thread colors.

I’ve had a hard time finding authentic Janome bobbins. Why didn’t in think of Amazon! Just as described.

Purchased 3 packages! Works perfectly with my new Janome! Highly recommend, love having a variety of filled bobbins on hand, Coupled with a thread rack that I mounted on the wall, makes perfect storage!

Despite the advertising, these bobbins do not work in the Sewist 740DC. I emailed the company before I purchased them and they said they work. Well, not when you hear the machine clunking as it’s sewing. Changed out the bobbin to one that came with the machine and problem solved. I thought these were returnable but I guess not. Lost on this gamble. I will call Janome and get to the bottom of it and update this review. Update: Unable to contact Janome. They keep redirecting you to a dealer. Upgraded to 3 star because I did try a different bobbin from this pkg. and it seems to work. Might just be the first one I used was somehow distorted or defective. As I stated above, I contacted Richmond Hill, the seller and they did not give me specific info. They should be able to respond confirming it fits specific model. So for now, I would say it works. Shouldn’t be this frustrating to get the info one needs to make sound purchasing decision. I need more bobbins but won’t reorder due to no returns. I’d rather pay more and buy it from a local dealer. Hope this helps.

Fast service at a great price.

I order Janome bobbins on Amazon, because Joanns and Hobby Lobby dont carry them. They sell the generic bobbins that fit Singers, so I am happy to find them on Amazon. In the past, I bought bobbins at large quilt shows, but I go to maybe 1 a year now. Sometimes I need bobbins right away and the price is about the same so, its all good. Actually maybe cheaper in the long run, because I spend a lot of money on a lot of stuff at those quilt shows.
