I love all of the different compartments but it does make finking something more difficult

Product description says The Cool Student Backpack has our signature leather bottom, but the bottom is plastic. Its not actually Jansports signature leather bottom at all. Extremely disappointing.

It is smaller than expected

My grade 7 daughter LOVES this backpack. Her sister had a black one and it was very durable and has lasted. Hopefully the same here.

I’ve always had success with Jansport bookbags! First time I ordered one online. I bought this for my son’s 8th grade school year. He needed a sturdy and roomy book bag bc they do not have lockers and have tote around a chrome book as well as all kinds of binders and supplies. The zipper on main compartment kept sticking on the fabric and first couple times I was able to gently move it along. The next time it would not move one way or the other. Tried and tried to no avail! I finally got a knife to try to help and ended up ripping and cutting the fabric at the same time. I tried to return, but the only option was receiving the replacement way after when I had to return the backpack. It is still usable, but not ideal.

Arrived fast and packaged well. Nice color - something different without being flashy. Good choice for a teenager.

Lasts for years

I purchased it for my sons junior year of high school. It is lightweight yet sturdy. It has enough pockets to help keep his items separated.
