This is the very best solder I have ever used. It actually melts at low temperatures. If you have ever used some other brands, then you already know what I mean.

It has stood the test of time. Flows great and makes a good connection that is strong.

It flows great and makes it easy to make a perfect shiny joint.

Night and day difference between this and dollar store solder. Works amazingly well with SMD components, melts and sticks to pads easily. Do yourself a favor and get reputable brand solder and maybe you will actually enjoy soldering for once!

This is very much the good stuff as far as solder is concerned. The smaller diameter has proven quite useful for surface mount components.

Melts nicely and doesn’t burn. Fills crevices easily and is easily removed using solder wick. Doesn’t drench my protoboard in flux. Be sure to use a good quality temperature-control soldering iron or you’ll get bad results no matter how nice your solder is.

Simply good quality solder from a quality manufacturer. You wont go wrong with Kester products.

I am used to Alphametals made in Brazil. The trade mark is BEST and it is really the best. This one from Kester is not good at all. The flux core is not continuous, so when you stat soldering, some spots go fine and some dont. I need to use extra SMD flux paste to finish the job, what takes longer and compromises the quality. I would say do not buy, but these company took over the market and that is the only option we have. The other option is to import from BEST in Brazil.
