> 3 dayThis is my second bag from Komal Passion Leather - I have a similar one for my tablet. Absolutely my favorite bags and the price is great based on what you get. Each bag is unique in color and clearly handmade. You receive the bag within its own cloth bag and a letter from Komal on fine paper - it really feels like rich experience. The bags are well made and very sturdy. I personally waterproof them, but most likely not necessary if you let them dry out. The bag looks and feels premium. Ive had my first bag for a year, and needed to replace my laptop bag, so it was a no brainer.

> 3 dayAfter reading all the reviews for this bag I decide to get one well two my wife wanted one also. She said she has always wanted a bag like this. This bag has tons of room for pretty much anything you would need during school and work. I have two jobs and a field placement I am doing and this allows me to put everything I need for all three with room to spare. I like the note that came along with the bag that was personally signed not a stamp of a signature but actually signed (which you never get these days). The bags had a slight smell, but is going away already. I just unpacked the one bag and loaded it up with the things I need. I also liked the bag that it was wrapped in very nice. All the reviews are true about the quality and space this bag offers. Of I ever need another bag I am going here and I will tell people where I got this bag. You have to understand that I a cheap and this bag is well worth its price (which I hardly ever say, I think this is the first time I said anything is worth the cost, but this one is) If you are looking for a great sturdy light weight classy bag stop and buy this one. You will not be disappointed what so ever.

> 3 dayI have carried this bag to and from work for at least the past month, maybe two. It has held up so far as one would hope for a leather bag. First off, this bag came very dry and stiff, although it did seem like some kind of vegetable oil had been applied to it at some point, maybe just too little of it. The initial color was a light brown, even close to tan. I heated up some coconut oil and spent an hour or two rubbing it into the leather. It soaked it up like a starving child in Africa, and softened significantly, so it seems to have badly needed it. My attached images reflect the darker color that resulted, which I actually prefer. It became more of a reddish brown. The darker stain on the flap is just the result of a recent greasy hamburger accident. I assume it will lighten up again like the rest in a week or two. For the price, it appears to be rather well made. The stitching isnt perfect, but it isnt unsightly, even close up. The leather is supple once oiled properly. The canvas interior seems nice enough to me and the pockets/pen holders all seem to be well thought out and implemented. It fits my 13.3 work laptop, in a neoprene sleeve, perfectly with room to spare. In a pinch I often even stuff 2-3 Chromebooks inside with it. For those who have the compulsion to use a mouse, I imagine the front pocket would fit even a large mouse with some finagling. I do, however, have a few small gripes: 1) The brass/plated wire bracket that holds the strap on the top of the bag sometimes seems to break free of the leather and needs to be reinserted into it (I have included a picture). Maybe this is still a good balance between solid construction and easy disassembly for cleaning/oiling, but it bothered me enough to bring sturdiness to 3 out of 5 stars. 2) The keepers for the strap are not tight enough and just slide off of wherever you try to place them without doubling up the tail (I included a picture of how I got around this). 3) The shoulder pad is also fairly loose and will slide around wherever it likes until you go to shoulder the bag again. 3) Once adjusted to the shortest length possible, the bag still sits a little bit lower than I would like as I like to carry messenger bags in the small of my back, out of the way. Im around 62 and it still dangles down around my hips so I imagine the design did not intend on this sort of carrying method. I may try to punch another hole or two in the strap to make it just a bit shorter. 4) The buckle lies very close to the shoulder pad and may even end up beneath it on longer settings. Overall, this bag is worth the money in my opinion. Good for something you want to look good and still be functional, but cheap enough that you wont mind destroying over time with use/abuse. The classic-looking buckles, which can be used either just like traditional buckles, or as quick detach button clip, are convenient when youre in a rush. I have a leather messenger bag I reserve for my home gaming laptop that I paid at least twice as much for. You can tell that it is better made, out of better materials, but the fancy velvet-like interior is likely not as durable as the heavy duty canvas in this bag, and it cost too much to make tossing it casually around reasonable (which I suppose is a benefit when the laptop I carry within it cost me $1,500). This is a great work/backup bag.

> 3 dayThis bag is amazing. I was looking for one that is similar to Dr. Spencer Reids bag on Criminal Minds and this one is almost identical! His doesnt have the center pocket, but I love it! The color is lighter than the picture shown which I also like, and the hardware is all individually wrap-protected. It comes packaged with a very nice note from the seller, and its wrapped in a silky purple drawstring bag. It smells that wonderful leather smell, and Im sure Im going to get a lot of use from this bag and have fun breaking it in!

> 3 dayI ordered this after reading the positive comments. I was not disappointed. The quality of the leather is quite good. The canvas lining looks sturdy but there were a few errant threads in the stitching. I dont think it will be a problem, but time will tell. All of my equipment fit nicely (snugly) and there was plenty of room. I expect this briefcase to last for a good, long time. Ill revisit this review after Ive had a chance to use it in the real world. Great value!

Greater than one weekEspecially for the price, this bag seems to be VERY well made. I havent had time to really give it a beating yet, but its holding my iPad, 12 laptop, power accessories, cables, and a few other things without feeling like its bulging yet - more room than I anticipated. I put a cable in the back zipper compartment and had to move it, as the cable was showing through the bag and left a bit of a wrinkle for a while even after I removed it (this was a fairly thick HDMI cord). The strap doesnt dig into my shoulder too bad (though being a smaller bag Im forcing myself not to carry around all the things I used to!), and it had a nice, soft feel, yet rugged canvas on the interior. Plenty of pockets for my necessary items. It is a bit of a lighter color than I imagined originally, and I might try some conditioner on it at some point to darken it.

> 3 dayBag looks exceptional just as pictured. Holds my MacBook 13 in with UAG protective cover perfectly. Also holds iPad and power supplies with room for at least one large textbook or the equivalent. The smell was minimal, kind of like a wet baseball glove. It went away quickly. Arrived quickly exactly as ordered. Wrapped carefully in plastic then a cloth bag. For the price, this cannot be beat. Cow leather I think woud be thicker, but also heavier. I am soon retiring, and will not use a bag daily. I have to see how it holds up over time, but at this point, I highly recommend this bag or a 16-18 inch bag from Komal if you need more room.

> 3 dayVery nice looking and well made bag. Fits my 13 wide laptop (Dell Latitude 7480) and gear very well. The bag has a large 3 x 14 center compartment (10.5 tall). On either side of the large compartment are pen/misc holders and thin compartments separated from the main compartment with padding. It also has three 11 wide, 9 deep zippered pockets plus the pouch pictured in front. The only negative is that there is no padding on the bottom to protect laptops. This was easily solved by shoving a thin 3x14 slice of foam padding at the bottom (I salvaged it from the bag this replaced). Like most of my leather goods, I applied a coat of Nikwax to waterproof the leather. The leather took to it nicely, making for an even richer patina and slightly more subtleness.

> 3 dayI like good, sturdy bags with lots of appropriate sized pockets. Oh, and I like leather bags, too. This one hits all the marks. Yeah, it has an odor when you open it. Walk into any leather store and youll get the same smell. If it bothers you put it in the garage for a week or two and things will be fine. The bag is also aging and softening very well. I wear it over one should rather than cross body and it does just fine -- better than my other bags. Have no fear of this bag.

Greater than one weekWow! So impressed with the quality of this product for the price! I never leave reviews, but am so impressed with the quality and durability of this genuine leather bag (that arrived carefully packaged and with care instructions and a personal “thank you”) that I couldn’t not pass up the chance. I am so pleased with this purchase. Highly recommend these bags!!
