I Bought this case for my Seagate Backup Plus 4TB Portable External Hard drive.

Recently picked up a 4TB drive and already had a 2TB, both Seagate. Also have various SD cards and USB drives scattered about, wanted a better way to store and protect my devices. Ended up buying two for both external SSDs, which was absolutely perfect. These do barely accommodate the current 4TB models, but it does fit! The pockets are quite a nice touch, as storing SD cards and flash drives, as well as cables and misc. items (key-chain clip, strap) fit without issue with the external drives in place. The cases are lightweight, but extremely solid. The padding on the interior will indeed help offer protection. Couldnt be more pleased with these--highly recommended!

I have other similar cases which are effective but this one has extra padding inside to protect a portable drive. Its big enough to hold most drives and Ive used it with two different brands and it was compatible with both

Just what I wanted and it works well. Since getting it, it has travelled thousands of miles by now as I should have written this review ages ago.

Perfect protection for my external drive.

This case does exactly what its supposed to. It holds my drive securely and has a bit of organizational room for a couple of SD cards and cords. If I have one gripe, its that the case should be designed with an asymmetrical hinge so that the drive will sit fully under the padded divider. As is, the fit is a bit too tight because the divider isnt actually on top of the drive, but rather around the corner.

If keeping your hard drive safe is important to you, then look no further.
