i ordered this for my 9 mos old grand daughter for christmas. it was a hit with my 2 1/2 yr old grand daughter! it is a fun toy for toddler and great for baby that can sit up. it is a great developmental toy. babies can learn to grasp and pick up the toys, and eventually gain coordination to place them in and out. my 2 1/2 yr old counts while placing them in and out of the fish bowl.the base of the fish bowl is very stable, the bowl itself is squishy and soft which is perfect for babies! it comes with 4 sea creatures which each are unique with sounds from rattling to squeaking. there is a fish, crab, starfish and clam. all in all this is just a great toy! buy it for baby and watch she/he enjoy it even as a toddler!

Tried to use this with multiple children when I worked in early intervention and then, because I owned it, introduced it to my twin grandkids. Have yet to find a child who played with it much. A plastic coffee can with teething toys, rattles, baby jar lids, etc. will work as well.

My mother bought this toy for my youngest brother in 2001. It is the exact same toy, but in different colors. I found it in storage and washed the items and gave the toy to my 6 month old daughter. It is hands down her favorite toy of all time. She plays with it all the time. I love that it is QUIET, and its adorable, of course. Obviously it is a sturdy that will stand the test of time, which is important when you are going to pay almost $20 for a baby toy. It will definitely be an item you can pass down to younger siblings - or even your grandchildren, in our case! I would recommend this item to anyone trying to shop for a nice baby toy for an infant 3-12 months.
