> 3 dayMy 6 1/2 month old son loves this fishbowl. Each piece makes its own sound. He especially loves the crinkly crab and the fish that jingles. He plays with the fish like it is a tambourine. At first, he played with the pieces individually and now, he is starting to take them in and out of the bowl. When I first saw this in a store, I thought it was so cute, but little did I realize it would be so loved by my son, too. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayWe recieved one of these as a gift for my oldest when he was four months. The undersea creatures were the right size for his little hands to grasp. Later, he enjoyed playing with bowl as well and spent a lot of time putting the creatures into the bowl, staring at them and then taking them back out. Lasted through my older three kids and would have survived the last two if we hadnt lost it in a move. I ended up buying another one for the fourth. They have all loved it!

> 3 dayMy little guy got this when we were due to go overseas. I kept it in my hand luggage with a few other toys as quiet plane trip toys. Initially he wasnt terribly interested (at one year old) but as time has moved on he has become more interested. He likes to put the animals into and out of the bowl examing them through the plastic. He will spend time also squishing the bowl on its own to see the water moving around and things in the water move around. Now he is 14 months he has taken to using the animals in it as balls playing catch and fetch with his teenage brother. None of the animals make huge noises, although one has a squeaker which is the loudest. It does not take batteries, packs into a small bag if you are travelling and doesnt damage the furniture when it is launched by a teenager trying to amuse his baby brother. All in all it is very good value for money toy.

Greater than one weekGot this for our 7 month old grand daughter. Opening is soft which is good but hard for little ones to put the animals back in the bowl. After just 3 months the stitching is coming apart at the bottom.

21-12-2024We bought this as a gift after it was a favorite for both my daughter and son. We have always loved Lamaze toys and even after 7 years we were happy to see the same quality in this newer purchase. The 4 little sea creatures each have their own intriguing component such as squeaking, rattling, jingling, and crinkling. The little fish bowl is great for storage as well as playing with. It is recommended for 6 months and up, we have found it is enjoyable for such a long time that it makes it a long lasting toy.

> 3 daythe fishbowl is adorable but my granddaughter did not stay interested for long. She is 7 months and I think it was a little too advanced for her. She did not even try to put the sea critters in the fishbowl--all she did was put them in her mouth. Her mother put it away and will try again when she is a little older.

> 3 dayAs the grandparent of an almost one year old, I can attest most children love these Lamaze toys. I bought these for my grandchild to play with when he visits us as a special treat. These toys are easily stored which is nice for grandma and grandpa.

> 3 dayMy 6-month-old is fascinated by this toy! The current picture is what I received (its not the one with the water in the plastic and the less colorful creatures that are in the reviewer photos), but my son seems to really love the fishbowl. The crab is his favorite; it has ribbons on the claws which are made out of a satiny fabric which crinkles. The clam has a squeaker (which he laughs at - its great for distracting him when hes crying); the goldfish has a bell; and the starfish has a fairly quiet rattle (its probably my sons least favorite of the four). The top and bottom of the bowl are a soft velvety fabric and the bowl itself is a soft, flexible fabric. Even with all 4 creatures in it, the bowl is light enough for my son to pick up and hold, and he loves to put in and take out the creatures. Well often balance it on his exersaucer for him, and it tends to hold his attention for a significant amount of time.
