15-12-2024I bought this remote wireless off/on plug for my sons lights which hang in his room. He uses Alexas voice command to turn them off and on. Easy set up with his iPhone! I would highly recommend it for a simple wireless on/off solution. This is not a dimmer.

> 3 dayI like to have the lights on when I get home at night, but I dont like leaving them on all day and night wasting energy. So, I decided to dip my toe into home automation and did some research and found the Leviton Smart Wi-Fi Plug In. The app was easy to install and set up and the instructions were simple. I dont have a lot of patience for electronics that require a degree in engineering to set up and appreciated the intuitive controls. The schedules were easy to set up and I enjoy the ability to turn my lights on using the app before I get home. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to simple and easy light automation and scheduling to their homes for safety and peace of mind

> 3 dayWorks perfectly. I have converted most of the home we have into a smart home using Leviton Dimmers for the lights and they all work perfectly via their app and Alexa. This plug in version was no exception. Purchased to control a main lamp in my daughters room as she like most kids leaves the room and leave the light on Now turning it off is as simple as asking Alexa - who never complains about doing it! :)

> 3 dayThis is a simple way to give yourself a wifi switch that also interacts with other devices. The selling point is that you dont need a hub to use these, since they connect back to leviton directly. And because they interact with Alexa as well. The downside is now youre limited by leviton to what they will do, but its a fairly big company. The switch itself isnt super tiny, and the on/off button isnt great, I prefer the WeMo style or some of the other new ones (plus they seem to have better overall integration with SmartThings and such).

> 3 dayIm curious about creating a smart home, so decided to try this wifi plug. Very easy to set up using the My Leviton app supplied by the company, Leviton - its wizard-like, steps you through connecting to home wifi. Its simple to use. I just have one thing plugged in - a Christmas tree, which is fun to turn off and on through the app instead of walking over and plugging it in and out. I connected to my Echo Dot by enabling the My Leviton skill. Voice control makes it even easier and entertaining - Alexa, turn on the tree. The My Leviton app has a lot of capabilities, especially if you have multiple plugs or other Leviton smart products. You can create activities, which enable you to group commands to be run at the same time. Another nice feature, which I plan to use even with the one plug, is schedules. Thisll come in handy to turn a light on and off at various times of day or night. Now that Ive toe-dipped, Im going to consider other products to smarten the home. It started out as a novelty, but Im finding it pretty useful.

> 3 dayOne works but plug slips in and out - there is nothing in plug receptacle to hold plug and lamp does not get power. The other one will not connect to Samsung Smart Hub & Echo Alexa. I have 10 total in my house so I m very familiar with resetting them and connecting. Not sure if these were refurbs or just a bad batch but they need returning.
