> 3 dayIm writing this review to help others seeing as how I was not the only one who experienced this issue, but I will get to the issue shortly. Picture Quality: - At this price, the images are good especially when HDR is enabled then you really see the difference - Non HDR Rating: - 5/10 average, but good for everyday use - Mainly because image is not as sharp on a 32inch monitor running 1920x1080. - I can see pixel stairs around images from a 3-4ft distance - Not a big deal honestly, but Im used to 4k displays and I can tell the difference is all. - HDR Enabled Rating: - 9/10 - Colors, details, and image quality are surprising very nice - Cant say Ive ever noticed pixel stairs while HRD was enabled. Work: - Great for everyday work. - The screen is large enough that I can see everything much closer compared to a 13inch monitor. - I can see very small pixel stairs around images, but for normal usage and every day work, its good. Gaming (casual) - Even though this is not a gaming monitor, HDR capable games still look surprising well on this monitor at this price point thanks to its HDR10 capabilities. - I mainly used it on my PS4 Pro playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Mass Effect (Andromeda & Remastered version of trilogy), Tomb Raider, GTA 5 and all games looked very detailed, sharp, satisfying and pleasing to look at!!! - No lag, no after-image affect, and no discoloration. In other words, smooth and clean. Lighting - This monitor does get very bright! Enough to hurt my eyes! The Bad! - I ordered x2 of these monitors to use them simultaneously. - The first monitors stand broke about 5-6 months after ordering - The second monitors stand broke about 6-7 months after. - The monitor is on the heavy side and it is not light. Those plastic stands are cheap for sure and cannot support the monitors weight!!! - I was very upset that of all companies an LG part would fail on me so soon! - Others have experienced this, and it is true! Be careful about the stands! They break quickly! - Ive been using my monitors without stands and just angled so it sits upright, but not so much that it slips back down. Yes it sucks :/ - Im going to try to find custom stands to move them around. Other than that the stand issues, this is a great overall monitor for the price!

> 3 dayThai is a great buy for the money. Flexibility with 2 HDMI and VGA IN, form factor is great if you have more than one. The ONLY down side is the fact that the stand does not have the possibility to move UP/DOWN, and very limited TILT FRONT/BACK. Thats the only thing that made me not giving it 5 STARS.

> 3 dayFlaw one is the screen is like a mirror. Shine a light on a mirror you get glare. Glare equals eye strain and headaches. May not be for bussiness use. The 2nd flaw is the weak stand that will not last long. In the picture you can see the keyboard on the desk in the screen. You will need to download the English owner manual and file name win_OSC 7.79 zip from the LG home support page. The Win_OSC 7.79.zip file allows you to adjust the monitor setting from your computer. Try the setting HDR, really good picture.

> 3 dayWorks well for my needs, but wish it came with a remote or easier controls. It has one button/switch at the bottom that you have to press and maneuver to access the controls ( if just pressed it exits the menu) nine times out of 10 it exits the menu rather than registering depressing and moving up, left, right or down so I have to go through several attempts just to turn off the monitor.

> 3 dayOthers had reported a cheap and weak stand. LG must have listened to the reviews because mine came with a metal stand. I was a tad disappointed in the resolution, not because it is bad, but because of the resolution of my old monitor, a dell ultrasharp u3011. (The Dell also costs like 5x as much.) I was also disappointed that there were no USB or DisplayPort connections, but again, Im comparing it to a much more expensive monitor. (And I could have learned this from the specs, but I assumed these were standard on all new monitors.) On the good side, it uses only a fraction of the power of my old monitor, and so doesnt get hot like the DELL. Note: My computer does not have HDMI, and the monitor only has HDMI (and VGA). The instructions that came with the monitor recommended against a DisplayPort => HDMI cable as it might cause compatibility problems. I went with the cable anyway and found it works fine for video, but I was not getting any sound. Apparently, after installing this monitor, my system switched the default sound device to the LG monitor (so obviously no sound.) This was quickly remedied by manually switching my audio device back to my speakers. PROS: 1. the price was great 2. easy to setup 3. picture quality is good (not what Im used to, but good for what it is.) 4. relatively light 5. low power consumption, runs cool-warm CONS: Not enough features (covered above) Long story short, I like the monitor for the price/size:

> 3 dayI think for the value this TV is great. I use it mostly as an external monitor for my Mac for work. It is lightweight, easy to use, and the screen is very clear. I noticed that I wished it could go a bit brighter - my MACBOOK is brighter and its noticeably different to me. Aside from that, Ive no other complaints. If I ever go dual - monitor setup, I may have to pick up another one :)
