Great Brand period. The paint is nice and thick, opaque, dries quickly, and goes a long ways. Use your imagination and paint a pathway from your heart to reality with quality acrylic paint.

Shipped fine, no leaks, paint in good condition for a natural pigment- meaning, its thick. I was afraid to order paint online but I wont worry about that now. Liquitex makes great paint.

I bought this paint as a comparison between Winsor & Newton and Liquitex professional and student paints. In order to compare I did a simple gradient test to find the truest and birghtest color when mixed with white. I find it important to note that the professional Winsor and Newton uses the same pigments as the Liqutex student paint. I found that Winsor and Liquitex professional pains have the same degree of pigment saturation. However Liquitex professional had the brightest color when mixed with white. Liquitex student paint was only slightly duller than the professional and a closer comparison to Winsor professional. The Winsor student paint was not phthalo blue as I expected and had a very strong green shade. By all standards Liquitex professional was the best paint by being true to the expected color, having a high degree of pigment saturation, and remaining bright after being mixed with white. Winsor professional and Liquitex student tie for second though price would put Liquitex ahead. Winsor professional had a higher saturation but was not as bright when mixed with white and compared to Liquitex student. Winsor student pain comes in dead last by an long shot. The paint is the completely wrong color though its pigmentation states that it should be the same as Liquitex professional. The degree of saturation is far less that any of the other paints and it is greatly dulled by the white paint. Final rankings: 1. Liquitex professional 2. Liquitex student 3. Winsor & Newton professional 4. great dissapointment 5. Winsor & Newton Student I will be buying Liquitex paints for my art. I believe that Liquitex BASICS is the best value per $ as long as the paintings are not intended to be sold by an art gallery.

product came in a timely manner, one product was ok the other was totally unusable paint was all dried out was like a sponge couldnt even get it out of the tube. I refuse to pay shipping to return an unusable product. They did make it right by sending me a new tube which was good.

For some reason, Burnt Umber is a popular color this year because I had a hard time finding it in my favorite medium, which is chalk paint & Ive even bought acrylic burnt umber & made my own chalk paint, but I couldnt find it for MONTHS locally so when I completely ran out I remembered Amazon! Lol! And again, my options were limited. I have other colors in this brand that I picked up along the way or people gave me, but Ive never used it. So, I gave it a try bci really needed to finish a bunch of projects I had already started & hoped it all matched. It came in pretty quickly and when it did, I got to work! I wasnt so sure bc it is rather thick for someone used to working with acrylic paint, but that was a nice surprise bc I usually thicken it with plaster of paris or powder! I mostly use Burnt Umber to make Faux rust or a grungy, old, rusty, rustic look and this paint was perfect for that! I also like to use Burnt Umber for my Faux chocolate... Like the little Chocolate Pudding dessert cups as seen in the Pic. It makes a perfect chocolate color esp if youre mixing it with a solid white medium! And because its a nice solid color and thick paint, it doesnt water the whole project down! If you are NOT a painter and are more of a crafter that sticks to mainly acrylic or chalk paint, dont be afraid to venture out of you are having a hard time finding a certain color. This paint, although Im sure more used for paintings, it works great for crafting too. I highly recommend and will Def be buying this brand more often in the future.

I love this paint. I have been painting with it all weekend. It was exactly the color as shown on my screen. I had read a review that said the color was completely different than on the screen - just remember that screens can show a different color depending on how you have your brightness set etc. The only thing I did notice was there was no seal, but this is my first order with Liquitex so maybe they dont seal theirs. It still arrived with no leaks/great condition. Awesome pigment and thickness - I will definitely be buying from again!

Nice viscosity, medium coverage. I like the shine of liquitex paint when dry and the ability to add texture and dimension to my paintings

The paint is a nice paint thR goes on smoothly. It has a good pigment quality. One proble i had was with the bottling of the one I purchased. It had a defect and when I went to open the top the second time in the same sitting the whole top came off and could not be put back on. I had red paint all over me and my art table. Apparently how the top is glued together came loose. It would not screw back on so I could not seal the bottle. Results a mess and a waisted tub of paint. I have never had this happen before with tubes.I am glad I was wearing a painting shirt and covered my art table. So be careful when opening new tubes of paint. The supplier did replace the tub and did not have me send it back. I also had a choice of getting my money back. Since I liked the paint I chose a replacement.
