Good product for latex pours. Helps keep the paint stable for art work.

Was not familiar with gesso until I did some research . A thin coat mixed with a little water I used a sponge brush to apply and let dry . It’s transparent , you can’t even see it. Paint goes on much more easily . Will be using from now on .

I use this to coat 3D prints before painting and the issue I have with this product is that it takes 2 solid brushed coats to be effective. Once dried and sanded, it also requires careful application of acrylics over it and on one of my prints, it caused air bubbles to form on the surface that eventually settled but did require another coat. The coating requires 24 hrs before coats so it does extend your finishing time

I like all the Liquitex products. I just used this medium to prime 9 art boards in preparation for painting and mixed media projects. Medium is smooth, light consistency, spreads well and dries fast. I would recommend this item to mixed media artists.

As expected. arrived promptly.

I bought some small wood panels and primed with Liquitex gesso. Even with three coats of primer, the wood tone and grain showed through. Here is a painting I did on a clear primed wood panel. It would also be excellent for unbleached linen.
