Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition with NFL Sunday Ticket - Playstation 3

Greater than one weekLike many others, the Sunday Ticket was the clincher for me. It is a joke. The website is down for maintenance. On a Sunday. The ONE day that people can use the service and they take it down. Directv doesnt care. After twenty minutes of navigating menus that ask the same question over and over on the phone, I finally got a live person who put me on hold to ask her supervisor then forgot about me. If I was considering Directv in the past, Im not now. It wasnt even a free add-on, the game was $40 more with the unusable Sunday Ticket. Directv should be ashamed of themselves, and Amazon was foolish to take part in this scam.

> 3 dayI, like most football fans, get excited every year when the new Madden games comes out, and I, like most fans, are quickly disappointed when we find out that the game is pretty similar to all of the other editions. As many others have said, this deal from Amazon was a no brainer and what you are buying is really two different products - first, the game, and second, an online pass to see all of the football games via the internet. Therefore, giving this product a full review is hard because, until we see how effective the streaming capabilities of DirecTV are come September, you cant judge the true value of this package.

> 3 dayThe best part of this game is the instant replays, they look great. The gameplay itself is blurry and out of focus in comparison. I upgraded from Madden 09 and there is little visible difference in-game. The physics are still off. I like to rush the passer, and when my player pushes an O-lineman into the QB he still able to step into the pass and his arm just goes right through his teamates helmet no problem. This is ridiculous. Oh yeah, and then there is the freezing. This game has a known issue (EAs words) with freezing, and they are working on it. Releasing a game that freezes up regularly while playing is not ok. On Defense there is no tackle button! you can push x for defensive assist but otherwise you basically have to just run into a player to tackle them. If you dive or hit-stick you are susceptible to juke and spin moves. There really needs to be a basic wrap up and tackle button like most defensive plays in football.

> 3 dayIll admit, I havent played Madden in years so I cant compare it to the previous iterations. I was motivated to buy this version partially because my PS3 was gathering dust and I wanted a new game but also because of NFL Sunday Ticket. I have no complaints there. It work fine for me.

Greater than one weekAmazon should be ashamed. Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition with NFL Sunday Ticket is what the title states, what you actually get is only the mobile version if you are already a DirectTV customer. Furthermore, the game was supposed to be release date delivery but did not arrive till a day later. Not real happy with the deception I feel occurred on this one. The game itself is fine typical Madden, not worth the 40 dollars extra though.

> 3 dayLet me prefice this review by first saying I am not a huge fan of EA and the licensing agreement that they have with the NFL, and I absolutely despise DirecTV.

> 3 dayWorth the money just because of NFL Sunday Ticket. Anyone who lives outside of their teams market (Im an Eagles fan in Washington DC) will be very happy after purchasing this.
