Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition with NFL Sunday Ticket - Playstation 3

Quite honestly I bought this for the NFL Sunday Ticket code that was inside. I sold the game after I got the code. So... my recommendation is if this is available again next year totally buy it for the code. It is an online only version of Sunday Ticket but has been great to have. Drawbacks are: the code can only be used on one device at a time, trying to stream an AppleTV is pretty jumpy due to home network issues and DirecTVs servers. Totally worth to buy the game for this and then resell if you dont want the game.

DirecTV Sunday Ticket online is pretty bad at times and their customer service is terrible. Pretty nice when working properly. Madden 25 could have been more innovative seeing as how it is the 25th anniversary of the game but thats typical madden only putting out the bare minimum since they have no competition.

Even though its pretty common knowledge that EA is pretty reluctant to mess with the Madden formula too much over the years, this turned out to be a nice little upgrade compared to the last copy of Madden that I owned (Madden 11). Still, with all of the improvements over the years, the gameplay is still a little stagnant and nowhere near as exciting as it was when they were competing with Sega/Visual Concepts ten years ago.

Well i got this version of Madden for the NFL Sunday so i opted for the extra $$ over the other versions out there. I live in NY and i am a Denver Fan and i cant get Direct TV in my building so the next best thing was using this on my tablet or kindle.. But low and behold after hours wasted trying to input the code over and over and resetting internet connections and waiting on the phone. And the kicker of it all was Straight from the Direct TV customer rep was were sorry this year we arent honoring that NFL Pass that was enclosed in the Amazon Version of Madden. I was so pissed that i could of saved a few bucks and getting the original version and spent it at the local Bar to my broncos on Sundays when there not televised locally here in NY.. I guess Amazon never got the memo about the NFL Sunday Ticket debacle. maybe they knew and just sold it with buyer beware attitude. if thats the case this will be the last of many items i would purchased off of Amazon and look at my history I have bought quite a bit of stuff and lets not forget the upcoming holiday shopping thats at least 3 grand that i am going to spend... i will be waiting for some sort of apology for this poor misleading item that is just a regular version of madden minus the up charge for a code thats usles..

Im not a big online gamer and the last several years EA has been taking more options out of the Franchise mode, but this year they added it all back and then some. Graphics great as always!! Audio commentary is more detailed!! I have been buying Madden since the Sega days and this is by far the most detailed game that EA has done.

After 4 months of owning i have yet to be able to play online with friends. If i install an update the game freezes almost instantly and if you dont install update cant play online. Tried calling ea its like talking to a brick wall. No the brick walls silence is more help than ea. They didnt even acknowledge there was a problem till November. I have tried every solution there is and nothing works. I will never buy an ea game again.

I really bought this not for the game but rather for the Directv offer which works great. The game itself is fine
