So excited to get these but the magnets were so weak that you couldn’t build normally

These are a lot like the Magniformers you can get, which are often way more expensive. The plastic used is very very similar if not the same. Magniformers use a more powerful magnetic rod thought so that the magnet can reorientate to what every side you fit it up to. While I am familiar with Magniformers, I never thought that they were a better value. When I first saw this, I thought the price was a bit steep for what it offered, being a similar price to the better Magniformers, while also using the inferior style magnets that still work very well. As of writing this, you would get this 40 piece set for 29.99 and there was even a coupon for a extra 20% off. The equivalent for Magniformers is 39.99 for 30 pieces. I am actually adding this to increase the number my kids can play with more than a new gift though and this matches the quality of all the other ones we already own. I think we have well over 200 pieces with this just adding to that number. My kids make gargantuan structures with multiple floors to play with their dolls and action figures as well as other toys. Some of the structures come up past my waist and I am 6 ft. Overall, I am happy with the quality, and now happy with the price so I can recommend as long as it stays around the 30 or less range.

These were bought for an over active 2.5 yr old. Entertained him, the 1 yr old, the 9 year old and all of the adults (about 6 of adults). Ended up buying a second set- on a different prime account if anyone is checking.

All my kids ranging from 2-8 love these. My boys play with them at school in STEM as well. The buildings are endless!

There are lots and lots of these magnetic building tile sets being sold on Amazon right now. Most of them can be used together. This one is only 40 pieces so it’s quite small. But it’s a nice “starter” set to see if your child is going to enjoy such building sets. But from my experience. . . .The really like them. I use them in a school setting, and kids really enjoy building things together. This set is Made in China and being sold by a Chinese company on Amazon. At the current price of 30 bucks for only 40 pieces. . . This is quite pricey. Make sure you look around for the best price per-piece before purchasing.

Fun for everyone! My two year old to the 12 year olds to the 40 year olds were all playing. Definitely recommend getting multiple sets so you can have more endless hours of building.

I bought these tiles to add to the existing tiles in my kindergarten classroom. They are brightly colored and work with the other brands in my existing collection. The magnets in the tiles are securely contained in riveted corners. The magnets are strong enough to hold the tiles together firmly. These tiles were attractively priced and do everything more expensive brands can do. I was adding to an existing set, but if you dont already have magnetic tiles, you will probably want to buy a bigger set. The variety of shapes in this set was perfect and there were plenty of squares, which is the shape my students use most.

This is my sons second set of this type of magnetic tile building blocks, and this is by far his favorite. Both my 8y/o and my 10y/o had a lot of fun playing with this set when it arrived for them on Christmas. The magnets in the tiles are strong, but not so strong that my elementary school aged kids cant separate them. The tiles within the set are offered in a variety of shapes and colors which lends itself well to building tower-like structures, but they can be used for a wide variety of building projects. Great toy set, makes the perfect gift, and it definitely encourages creative play. 5-stars!
