Very good. Not flaky!

I use this to stiffen my quilt fabrics before I cut them. The starch keeps them from stretching, and is especially useful when working with fabric that has been cut in the bias. I like the scent free version, but I have also used the scented.

Have been using this for a number of years. Have to use unscented as the scented makes me cough for hours after I quit using it. I think this is a great product. Like it and have been through gallons of it.

Hard to find at the fabric and craft stores in my area of late; rarely in the gallon size, never in the unscented. Has become very pricey over the years, but the precision when cutting and machine piecing quilt blocks with small pieces suffer without it. Starch and sizing combined in this product seems to give just the right amount of crispness not stiffness.

Im a quilter who always pre-shrinks my fabric. Best press restores the crispness and body to the fabric after washing. The overspray does build up on the floor and walls, but can be easily washed off.

I love Best Press. I use it in quilting. It even takes out the center crease in fabric that has been folded forever. My daughter-in-law ironed her husbands shirt, and he said it was the best feeling starched shirt he has worn.

I don’t wash my fabric. Mary Ellen’s Best Starch sizes fabric and makes it easier to cut and sew.

Really great at soil release. No more scrubbing collars! I make sure I spray the cuffs and collars well to help them wash without scrubbing. This size saves money and I just refill the spray bottle.

Have used this since it first was available and love it. Not sticky and has just the right stiffness without feeling stiff, maybe I should say firmness. Great product. I only use the unscented.
