Mary Ellen Products 60041-1 startch, Scent Free, 16 Ounce

Perfect for my quilting projects!

I dont like the fact that I could not find a material safety data sheet (MSDS) or safety data sheet (SDS) anywhere. I would like to know what the ingredients of this product are. They arent on the label, and the SDS is not to be found on the internet.

To get wrinkles out of fabric for quilts.

I use this all the time to iron cotton quilting fabric. Leaves the fabric nicely pressed and ready to use for embroidery. I buy more when it runs out!

I use Best Press for piecing, really rely on it - it doesnt stick up my iron, and it washes out easily. I wish it werent so expensive, but still I wont use any other product!

No scent. This starch is so much better than anything else I have used.

Im the one who does the ironing in our family, and I used to use a ton of spray starch on my jeans and shirts back in the day. My wife had some of this stuff from a quilting project so when I ran out of starch one day I asked if I could try this product. It works better than spray starch, no residual flakes or stuck-on residue like the aerosol spray starch. I order it 2 gallons at a time and the weight of the fluid makes shipping pricey, but the product is very much worth it.

Have used this since it first was available and love it. Not sticky and has just the right stiffness without feeling stiff, maybe I should say firmness. Great product. I only use the unscented.
