> 3 dayI have used Mary Ellens Best Pressed for a few years. Very hard to find in store for a good price so bought the large economy size. Great value. Love this non-sticky, non-flaking starch. I have lots of summer linen and it does such a beautiful job and the lavender scent is light, not overpowering at all. My husband does his own ironing (I KNOW Im a lucky woman!) and he loves it too. Its also great to stiffen up your quilting piece work. Love this stuff!

> 3 dayIve used several different scents of Best Press, and like the lavender best. It doesnt leave any residue after pressing and stiffens fabric for cutting very well. Helps immensely for accurate cutting for quilts. The only drawback is the price, which is why I get it by the gallon.

> 3 dayReceived quickly. As a quilter I use a lot of best press. It help with the pressing of seams, and isnt as heavy as spray starch.

> 3 dayIve been sewing for years. Often using a water spray bottle as opposed to putting water in my iron. When I wanted to starch something, I would buy the spray starch. It always smelled so clean. Then I discovered Best Press. I dont even remember why I bought it. Works great. Lavender is my favorite scent. Started teaching my daughter to sew 2 years ago and bought her a bottle for her back then. Glad it comes in a gallon so I can refill my sprayer. I hope Mary Ellen never quits making the lavender scent!

> 3 dayWhy did I not hear about this AMAZING STARCH years ago. I would not have carpel tunnel in my wrists if I would have know about this two years ago. I have used half of this item, I spay heavy because the fabric is thick canvas material and have not needed to clean it yet. I had to stop using the other brands of starch because I was forced to buy new irons because I couldnt get the starch off the irons with all other Brands. I love this and there is not one thing I can say bad about it. I want to add, I used the starch on regular cotton shirts and the more you spray the stiffer it gets.

Greater than one weekI love Mary Ellens Best Press. The lavender is my favorite and no longer do I purchase Magic Sizing (which I really like, but can leave residue on ironed clothes) nor do I buy any starch. The Mary Ellens leaves no residue at all on the clothes or the iron and that is something that I love!
