Bought because my wife was jealous of the one we bought for our daughter. A bit lighter weight than our current TravelPro. Were getting older and lighter is better. To be clear, absolutely nothing wrong with the three TravelPro products that we purchased YEARS ago. Not a messed up zipper, missing zipper tab, tear, anything. Thousands of miles on them, both in the air and in the car. I know, this is kind of a review of our old TravelPro, but were that happy. Will only purchase their products unless they change something. Worth every penny.

I received mine several days ago and couldnt be happier. It is light weight, the wheels are built well and appear durable. All parts were intact and all zippers work very smooth. I did a lot of research prior to my purchase of the Travelpro Maxlite 5, and it is exactly what I need for a carry-on/suitcase combo.

This carry-on holds more than I thought it would. It held enough summer clothes and toiletries for a 4 day road trip. Can’t wait to use it when we fly and not have to pay such high baggage fees. Seems durable too.

This case is strong and roomy. It has a couple nice pockets inside and the handles on each side of the case are padded and easy to hold.

I bought this small carryon for my frequent travels between upstate NY and south Florida. It was much more expensive when I purchased it than it is now. Usually I take the train, but I bought it with the idea that if I ever needed to fly it would be the right size to be a carryon since its advertised as a 22-inch. I should have read the fine print, because guess what.... the actual suitcase is 23 inches which is 1 inch TOO LARGE to be allowed by the airline that flies where I live!! So I now have an expensive carryon that is both very small and too large to be used as an actual carryon. Very disappointed! Otherwise it seems to have held up well.

Seems to be constructed well. If you use it for a 3 day weekend I think you will have plenty of space. I used to use a 24 inch carry on model, and you can definitely tell you have more room in the case. I kinda wish they made a 25 inch model. It is that old adage... too small, too big... just right thing. It is light weight when empty, but does seem to be a tiny bit cumbersome when loaded up. The wheels and handle work well, no issues.
