> 3 dayIts slick, fast, and light. Very easy to carry around with you. Runs quick. You can do light gaming like legends of runeterra with no problems. Battery life is nothing to write home about but its fair. Screen looks great. I just hope it lasts for some years because the last surface pro I had lasted about 4 years before running into obsoletion. I wish you could upgrade the internals and do maintenance. Thats why its 4/5. Also the pen is nice. Great for being a student.

Greater than one weekI had a decent surface. It had some display issues. I sent it in. It was fixed. Lost it in a freak accident. Chose to get another one because I still had all the accessories (sunk cost fallacy) and I had a goos experience. The first one came with an unlisted defect and had tons of scratches and pits in the screen, despite being like new. Sent back. Second one was clearly an altered-display refurb listed as like new. The device warrantly expired on 10/18/21, a year before I got it. So, a used two-year-old machine with a history of display issues. The new screen wasnt scratched up and I needed it, so I kept it, updated it, and then a week or two in, the screen shuts off randomly and took a moment to come back on, even while pushing the power button. Afterwards the screen had a rippling, drunken effect. No manufacturer warranty and only 30 days to return to Amazon when major display errors are happening a week in? Return it. Icing on the cake: quick, easy factory reset bricked the device. No, no, no. No more Surfaces, no more like new laptops from Amazon, no more touchscreen laptops, no more 2-and-1s. If you read this and choose to get a new, or God forbid, like new surface instead of a traditional laptop and cheap screenless drawing tablet, you deserve the misery.

> 3 dayMy wife loves it! She has been trying various things and so far has been very happy. She hasnt really messed with camera yet so i cant comment on that just yet. It came in quickly. It was fairly easy to set up even though she was only slightly familiar with Windows 10. Ithink her favorites are the art apps that are available.

> 3 dayWent from a MacBook Pro to this, and so far I love it. Grant it I still have my MacBook for production, being able to drawing on the go as well as handle programs I’d need boot camp to run on my Mac is awesome. I’d suggest buying surface keyboard, pen, and dial (if that’s your thing) on Amazon being retail stores charge over $100 for each of those. Overall, very satisfied.

> 3 dayAdvertized battery life of this unit is 8 hours which in reality is 3.5 hours max. With just 6 weeks of use such a performance issue is beyond ridiculous. Microsoft warranty and after sales support makes the matter even worse with totally biased (in MSs favor) options, pretty much leaving you with no option to swallow the 1200 dollar expense and buy something else.
