This grease gun works well in nearly every application. With two settings for high volume/low pressure and low volume/high pressure the gun works perfect from bearing packing to high pressure greasing of kingpins. The best feature of the gun is a preset dial that delivers a selectable, consistent amount equivalent to a stroke of a typical hand operated gun. Set the dial, pull the trigger, and the grease is dispensed according to the setting then shuts off. This is perfect for regular maintenance of vehicles or equipment, or in a production environment where a measured amount is needed. The included hose is nice and long, and theres even a built-in LED light to help see into dark corners of the equipment being lubed. This is a no-nonsense, heavy-duty tool. The housing and handle are plastic, but all of the active components, pump, gearcase and motor are all metal. It should last for years under heavy use.
