I already had the Tuya Smart App for some other devices in my house. As soon as I plugged in this smart plug. The Tuya app recognized it and added it to my list of devices. I then got a notification from Alexa that it had been connected as well. The plug itself is small and doesnt interfere with other devices in the outlet.

This plug works great, and does exactly what I want it to do. It hooked up to the network no problem, was found by Alexa immediately, and dims or brightens on voice command. One picture shows 15% (as low as I could go before it shut off entirely) and the other 100%. You can say Alexa, dim the light to 15% or Brighten the light to 100% and it responds accordingly.

I recently purchased a smart plug and I am absolutely thrilled with it! The plug is incredibly easy to set up and connect to my home Wi-Fi network, and I love that I can control it with my smartphone or alexa. The app that comes with the smart plug is very user-friendly and allows me to customize settings for each plug, including setting schedules and timers. I ordered this for my TV because I often forget to turn it off. Now doesnt mater where I am, I can turn it off from any where from my Alexa app. or by saying to Alexa. Thank you

Plugged it in, light would turn on from the side of the product but it wouldn’t power anything.

Smart socket, can be connected and controlled through APP and Amazon Alex. Not only can you control on and off, but you can also adjust the brightness.

A few months ago I got an antique tension pole lamp that has three separate bulbs in it, it was kind of a pain to turn all of them on and off all the time; not to mention the loud clicks the old switches made could literally wake you from your sleep. Ive had this for about 2 months now connected to our google hub/nest with no issues, so much nicer to just turn it off from my phone or voice command
