> 3 dayI have a fire kindle 7th generation - it fits tight and the closing strap hits the power button - I could not find a case for mine so I tried this---to fix the power button issue - I just used velcro to hold the kindle into the case

Greater than one weekIt says it does but the volume and power buttons for the kindle fire 7 7” 9th generation are on the top and the straps that hold the kindle into the case press the buttons and try to reboot it when it’s in the case.

> 3 dayThis was so pretty and I was excited to have a case that would stand my kindle up in portrait mode. Unfortunately, the straps that hold the kindle in cross right over the power and volume buttons, so it kept turning off and or trying to do a hard reset. I’ll have to rerun it.

> 3 dayI read a lot of reviews about cases for the paper white. This one is perfect. No issues with it having an odd tilt due to the case not being secure with the magnets on the back, no issue with the device being off centered when holding it due to the cases cover. There’s a strap to secure the case when open or closed. It checks all the boxes that I had concerns about with other reviews. When searching for a paper white case this one isn’t a top choice, but It should be. Coloring is like pictured and quality seems good too. It doesn’t enable sleep mode when closed.
