Just as Cards Against Humanity took a simple concept from Apples to Apples and imbued it with scathing, inappropriate wit and a unique 21st-century debauchery, so does this game using the formula of the classic party game Celebrity. The play is simple: get your team to guess a set of names written on cards, using fewer words each of three rounds. What transforms Monikers from simply entertaining to profoundly hilarious is the amazing set of people, concepts, cultural icons, memes, and tropes the creators have come up with. They range from obscure to immensely popular and from intellectual to dick joke (often, somehow, a clue is all four at once). In the same game, you may have to describe A Furry, charade Anthony Weiner, and decide the best single-word clue for A Basic B---- (perhaps Uggs or Latte). The points become almost superfluous, though it is helpful to have something to keep track of and give structure to each game.

Such a fun game for adults or families with teens! You have to know the things on the cards but this game is great! 10/10

This is a great party game! I feel like you’d need at least 6 people for this game to be fun. It’s very easy to learn!

Monikers is fun, easy to learn and, most importantly, hilarious - everything you want in a party game. Everyone Ive played it with has enjoyed it and its such an simple concept you dont need to worry about boring people when explaining the mechanics.

Great party game. As the rounds go on youll see it build. At first its a simple party game, but as things get more complicated it gets very funny for the whole group.
