Quality higher than expected. The black version has a glossy finish. It would have been better if it were matte. But it fits perfectly to my Forma and Forma powers on / goes to sleep as expected with the cover removed / placed back on.

Fits like a glove, no interference. 20% of the cost of the official one and neither one is REAL Leather. They both claim to be PU Leather which is Plastic simulated Leather or Pleather :-) For $50 I would expect the real thing. For$10 his cover works great, sleep function perfect, origami stand so so but works, I dont use it. The cover of course adds some dimension and weight but is negligible for the protection offered. When I am home I remove it for reading in bed or couch. The reader itself is so light and ergonomically designed with rotation function it is pleasant to use without the cover. Snaps in and out easily and worth having, cant beat the value. Purchased in Black.

This case perfectly fits the Kobo forma. The sleep wake function works as expected. The quality of the case is solid and there is no chemical smell. A tad bit in on the glossy side for the black version. Overall a great alternative for the official case which is way overpriced. Go and get one of these is you own a Kobo forma.

Im not a fan of how this case makes the device stand up.

“It’s A Great cover and looks great . But it’s a little. Ugly and weighs more than the Kobo. Not the nicest to hold when reading with one hand. I usually take it off when I do read lying down.

It does what I need it to do. The magnet works well to turn the Kobo on and off when you open and close the cover. I had previously not used a cover with my e readers so was worried about adding weight or bulk since I usually hold them with one hand while lying in bed. But that is not a problem. I don’t think this case will provide a ton of actual protection, but I don’t need that. Consider buying a padded sleeve to put over the kobo and the case if you need to throw this in a backpack or have a toddler who might drop it or something.

Item Weight is specified as 81.6 g but it is 142 g. More then official Kobo cover weight.
