This phone freezes up constantly on YouTube also the speaker went out. Only had it about 3months

I like the phone. Had a Moto G5 previously. Just dont like the swiping to go back to the previous page in a browser. No back arrow, just swipe. So, when Im on Instagram or another site that you swipe to advance - my finger position is just a bit to close to the edge of the screen and it goes backwards. Ive had the phone for over 2 months and it still happens from time to time.

This is not one of Motorolas better devices. The first issue is no NFC chip set. This is my fault for not doing better research but it would figure this would be standard for most phones today. So without this chip no Google Pay or anything like that. The battery life is no where that Motorola claims it to be. It says 2 days on a single charge. Not even a full day of letting your phone sit idle. If you use it maybe half a day. Also the phone will randomly shut off for no reason. Not a restart but complete shut down. The upside of this phone is the calls are clear with few drops and the camera is fantastic. I really like the macro view. Not the worst phone on the market but definitely not one of the best.

I bought the new phone today, but the product is showing out of Warranty. Is there anything I need to do to like need to register or something to get the warranty? Please advise.

Writing this review after a long term use. Phone is still working fine but just got really slow. Resetting the phone didnt help.

Its getting so that there is really no reason for the average phone user to buy flagship models. Motorola has been getting some excellent press on their phones of late, but this one may be the best. If your not a power user then I can see no reason to spend the extra money, this one was $169. It comes with android 10 which is a really nice upgrade from 9 with dark mode. The screen looks fantastic and the apps load quick and snappy from one screen to the next. The ring tones and chimes are Moto which may be ok for some I will load some custom tones later. As for video no noticeable delay or dropouts even on HD sources. A big plus was wifi calling which is directly toggled from the pull-down menu. This is a huge plus if you live in an area with weak cell reception like I do, the calls are loud and clear but even the cell reception is better than most phones Ive used out here. The speaker is very loud another plus for ageing ears, I did turn the screen brightness all the way up and that shortened the battery life but I can still get a full day of use and have plenty of juice leftover. The tactile feel of this phone is excellent a little slippery so I ordered a case and screen protector. Of all the phones I ordered over the past few years this is by far the best so far, very pleased, highly recommended.

This Moto G Fast is really a great phone! Awesome batter life... I use it as a phone (not as an entertainment or streaming device ). I can have the phone for 3-4 days without charging! Awesome. Features are fantastic, and its fast. The quality of the phone is also great!. With a 32 G, way enough space, and I can add 128 G card if I want, very easily just slide out on the side. And the price is fantastic. Over all, Moto G Fast is an awesome phone and fantastic value!

Had to find a good replacement phone for my mom and read the reviews for this one and so far its working out great. For an older adult that is not tech savvy at all this might be a bit harder for them to use. She is still trying to learn to use cell phones. I personally like the phone. It takes great photos and its easy to navigate and use. Its bigger than her last phone but not my much.

I usually like to wait until Ive owned a product for a couple of months so that I can write my most honest review. I have owned the Moto G Fast for 3 and a half months now. After 3 and a half months I have noticed that the camera quality has become poor in such a short amount of time. When pressing the camera button it takes a while for the camera to snap a photo and the image that Im snapping a photo of has to be completely still because if it moves the slightest bit the entire picture will come out distorted and blurry. Also, the phone barely connects to data. As of now I can only make calls and send texts but I cannot use the internet or open any apps. I put my sim into my backup phone and the back up phone connected to the data just fine and everything worked without having service issues. It is disappointing that the Moto G Fast has become near useless after owning it for such a short amount of time.

My 2017 vintage cell phone needed replacing. I wasnt satisfied with the selection of affordable phones from my service provider,so I took a chance on this phone. I am glad I did. It is light years ahead of my old phone. Its fast and has great features. The tripple cameras are adequate for casual photos and there are decent photos editing options to improve the pictures to your style. The screen and sound are very good. I really like the finger print sensor and the really cool Google lens feature. It will analyize a picture and try to identify the subject. Its fast and has a good accuracy rate. I am very satisfied with this version and would get another Motorola phone the next time I need one.
