The kit is well built and compact which makes it easy to stow away under/behind a seat. Like most bits of safety/recovery kit it is best to keep them in the vehicle at all times as you never know when you or someone else may need it. The sticker on the package depicts a standard non-locking hitch pin but dont fret. The kit contains a locking hitch pin as shown in the product description. I purchased a second kit for my work truck.

I have not had a chance to use it but the strap and the rest seem to be a very good value.

Heavy duty well beyond what I thought it would be. I haven’t used it but even the storage bag is heavy duty.
