NAR6595A NAR6595 Motorola Original APX 764-870 MHz Single-Band GPS Stubby Antenna

I changed out the long antenna on my APX 6000 radio. The old one would rub above my vest into my armpit. This keeps the antenna out of my way, and does not affect performance. I can still broadcast/receive the same distance from the repeater that I could before the swap.

So much better than the long antenna. I have noted no different in service either.

Works fine... No difference between regular size to this...

I really like the size of this antenna, my original one constantly poked me in the arm pit, this is much better. I have had trouble keeping it on the radio. Im not sure if this is a defect but it comes loose and has come off a couple of times, Im afraid itll fall off and Ill lose it. This happens no matter how tightly I twist it on to the radio, I havent ever had this problem with any radio/antenna Ive used. I would give it 5 stars if it stayed on better.

Great size, however the screw insert to my radio broke in less than two weeks use.

College Campus Officer tired of the longer antenna jabbing underarm. Tried the cheaper 2pk off-brand names; lasted a few weeks at best. Decided to go with actual Motorola brand and was quite satisfied.... for 4 months. Then tonight at work, it became loose and broke off; antenna broke from screw. I guess I thought it would last much longer being Motorola. Back to the drawing board.

Hubs uses this on his radio because the old one was digging into his arm pit. Still has same great reception

Recently switched to APX 8000 radio which has an enormous antenna. Bought this and it works great. No issues so far.

No issues, works fine, no need for the giant antenna
