> 3 dayIve purchased a lot of center punches over the years and this is the best one that Ive found. It lasts for years and is easy to punch. Ive even reordered multiple times so I can have them at various stations in my shop.

Greater than one weekThis tool does exactly what it is supposed to do: put point where you want a mark, then depress the ball end until you hear the snap and the mark is made. The tool is adjustable for depth of mark. I always have to have a quibble and for this tool the checkering is a bit sharp, but that is very minor to the tool doing exactly what it was purchased for. Now, I have to mention, my use will be for drill locations in all species of wood. In my machinist tools, I have large and small Starrett punches. With the red ball end, the Neiko is a bit easier to locate and use. Will it last decades like my Starretts? Dont really know or care, as the Neikos cost was about 20% of a Starrett!

> 3 dayThis is the first time I used a punch-down tool. The purpose for making holes to drill on a piece of MDF plywood it worked great.

> 3 dayUsed this to start the hole for a soap dispenser in my sink. Had to use a diamond hole saw after but this was definitely helpful to get the process started.

> 3 dayHavent had a chance to use all of the punches, but of just 3 of them (J, P, and C), the P was weak and not up to par. If this is representative, 1/3 of the punches will be faulty.
