> 24 hourI set it up in the office and forgot about it, especially as it is completely silent. No issues with installation or operation at all. And the price is right. Recommended.

> 24 hourI am just using this in a home application. Very reliable, easy to install. Super easy way to add extra ports to my home Gigabit networks. Metal case is nice addition.

> 24 hourI know it isnt considered a great practice, but we use these switches in a small office environment to connect multiple devices to one line going back to our router. Our use case is not very data intense and this is a perfect solution to avoiding running addition hard lines. It also seems to give better and more consistent performance than does our alternative of connecting fixed devices (printers, phones, desktop pcs, etc.) via wireless connections.

> 24 hourExcellent 8 port switch. Plug and play (as they say). Just plug your internet ethernet into (any) of the ports, then plug the receiving devices’ ethernet cables in any of the other ports. And like Oprah says, “You get internet, and you get internet, and you get internet!” - Seriously, works perfectly, no hiccups.

> 24 hourThis was used to home run 5 Linksys Velops to the parent velop. I plugged all the velops into the switch and plugged the switch into the wall and job was done.

> 24 hourI have had many switches and there is a surprising number that have gone bad from other companies. Because they are unmanaged, deciphering why they are no longer working is difficult and not worth the effort. Netgear switches have been the most reliable. Many other companies are using cases that look like the Netgear metal case but just appear not to me reliable. For the price, this is a great piece of equipment. It is reliable and just works.

> 24 hourVery simple to use, this model requires no configuration, just plug and play. No issues or complaints whatsoever, this is a heck of a deal for an 8 port switch for under $20!!! Just buy it if you need a a simple 8 port switch.

> 24 hourI installed this switch on a home office setting. It works. It replaced a NetGear four (or was it five?) port switch that had worked without interruption for several years. I needed the additional ports. I cannot speak to longevity, only to out-of-the-box function.
