All in all a very good lens quality wise only complaint i have is the weight, as I suffer with arthritis and found this to be to heavy for me. Lens sent back for this reason

This is the sharpest 24-70mm zoom lens I have used. It beats its f4 brother. Contrast and colour rendition are excellent and chromatic aberration is negligable. If anybody is thinking of buying this lens, dont think anymore, go ahead and buy one.

This is the best mid-range zoom Ive ever used for a few reasons. Firstly, its ultra sharp at all focal lengths. Secondly, the function ring allows me to quickly change exposure or aperture during a shoot without fiddling with dials. Thirdly, its lighter and smaller than the F-Mount 24-70 by a decent margin. The only thing holding this lens back is its price, but really, its not hard to justify when you consider that youre getting prime-lens quality throughout the focal length.

About me: I primarily shoot video. When I am doing photography, I am usually shooting product, cityscape, nightscape, or night sky.

This lens lives up to all the online reviews. Awesome image quality on the Z7 and Z6. I was a bit concerned about size/weight after reading some other reviews, particularly in comparison to the 24-70 f/4.0 S, which I also own. But coming from an F mount 24-70 f/2.8 on a DSLR, this lens is probably 20% smaller and lighter, and sits on the Z6/7 nicely without over powering it. It makes for a well balanced combination. Its solid but not overly big or heavy. If you demand the best quality, there is nothing about its size that should make you second guess buying this. I have a 14-30 that lives on my Z7, bu this one lives on my Z6!

The only dislike might be the cost. But if you want quality you have to pay for it, and it is a quality pro lens. I use a wrist strap on my Z7ii and this lens feels great. It is light and well balanced. Fast focus, crisp clear pictures, very little post processing needed. Street, and landscape photography, have been my first 2,000 compositions.
