This fan has great airflow but is a bit too loud at full speed without the included low-noise adapter. The adapter reduces max RPM from 1500 to 1200, which greatly reduces the noise.

I had to order this ugly fan for use with my open air test bench, so that I could direct airflow toward the CPU cooler and/or GPU. It does exactly what its supposed to do. Noctua makes the best fans on the market IMO, and soon they are going to be making them look more aesthetically pleasing as well. Win-win.

This is a very quiet fan, which I am using in place of the top-mounted fan that came with my case.

This seems to be a great fan for moving air but not nearly as quiet as advertised or expected.

I bought a few of these mainly to replace the loud fans that came with my NZXT Kraken X61. They are not only quieter but they seem to put out more air than the ones that I had. Great packaging, very sturdy design and construction. Obviously they are sort of ugly but I dont have a window on my case so I dont care.

Absolutely perfect. So happy I made this upgrade.

You pay a few extra bucks for Noctua fans, but they move a good amount of air and are very quiet. The six year warranty isnt too shabby either.

Quiet. Great air flow. Solid construction. Very good fans. Use them on my CPU radiator and am very satisfied. Who came up with the tan and cinnamon color scheme, I dont know. Quite ugly. But I dont care about that on a radiator. Definitely a best buy. Thinking about replacing all my fans with Noctua products.

Whisper quiet. Cant tell if PC is on sometimes. Did not use low rpm adapter. Running in a bottom mount pull configuration. Replaced a:XIGMATEK AOS XAF-F1453 140mm ( 800 - 1300 RPM 90.3 CFM). Running in conjunction with 2 NF-F12 PWMs on Corsair H100i cpu radiator and 3 case NF-S12As. Great combo for quiet/moderate airflow. Cant gauge temp change on my video cards due to forgetting to benchmark temps with old case fans (Antec 1600 RPM 56 CFM basic fans) and XIG. fan...but if memory serves...temps went up 3 degrees on video cards.

Quiet & efficient fan with choices of mounting with silicone for vibration free use. I have a Noctua CPU cooler as well.
