Noctua NF-A4x10 5V, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin, 5V Version (40x10mm, Brown)

> 3 dayThis It is a VERY high quality 40x40x10mm fan in a very fancy package that includes a variety of items to adapt to almost any installation yet the one I received will NOT run off 5 volts unless I prod it with my finger. It then runs at a very low RPM. It would seem, despite the stick-on on label affixed to the blade assembly that I have received a 12 volt fan. I see no other explanation as I have been advised it takes 7 volts minimum to start the 12 v version. Am returning even though I had to use the included connectors to modify to my connector. Not sure how all this will turn out.

> 3 dayLooks like a nice fan. I accidentally bought the 5v fan when I needed a 12v fan. I am sure it works fine, but I have not tested it.

Greater than one weekI needed a 5v three-wire fan to replace a failed unit. The Noctua fan was a perfect fit. It is working fine, but it is too soon to comment on long-term durability. The kit came with numerous adapters that I did not need. I would have preferred a fan only option at a lower price.

Greater than one weekWhisper quiet. After splicing original connector it worked well. Let’s see how long it lasts.
