> 3 dayI got this to replace the noisy fan on an X58 chipset heat sink. Its quiet as could be and moves plenty of air for a 40mm fan, keeps the chipset as cool as Id hope, which is still pretty toasty. The only way I could get better cooling would be to disregard sound completely and get a 40x30mm banshee from a server. Im glad this exists in a market area thats practically niche.

> 3 dayThe fan was super easy to install and connect. It is not loud at all. The material appears okay, but its plastic, which does not bode well for the long term.

18-12-2024Der Noctua NF-A4x10FLX sorgt jetzt unterhalb meiner Grafikkarte für den Wärmeabfuhr. Diese hatte das Problem das sie ~7-8 Grad wämer wurde als vorher bevor die Wasserkühlung meines Ryzen 5 1600X an der Front die Frischluft für das Gehäuse recht gut erwärmt hat. Da der Kühler der Asus Strix GTX1060 OC in der Vertikale Ausrichtung sowohl die Wärme nach oben als auch nach unten abgibt, kann die wärme unten nichtmehr gut entweichen weil dort eine selbstgebaute Doppel SSD Halterung aus Plexiglas ihren Platz gefunde hat. Weiteres Plexiglas wurde mit 2 Komponentenkleber zusammen gefügt und steht nun direkt unter meiner Grafikkarte. Der Noctua Lüfter steht ganz links am Ende dieses so hergestellten Tunnels und sorgt bei 7 Volt gedrosselt für einiges an Bewegung unter der Grafikkarte. Diese bedankt sich mit niedrigeren Temperaturen, weil sie nichtmehr die ganze Zeit die abgegebene heiße Luft einsaugt. Klappt wunderbar!

> 3 dayOh wow!!! This fan is awesome! Very very impressed with packaging, build quality, instructions, basically everything is premium. I bought another fan first for my Lorex DVR and it was very loud. This one is whisper quiet. I will never buy another type of fan. Amazing! Can’t express how much better this is than the original lorex fan or other brands.

Reduced motor hub size
