Greater than one weekThese are almost absolutely silent and move a ton of air for how small they are! Two of them in my 1U server to replace noisy 10K rpm fans that make it sound like a jet. These fans are the bees knees.

> 3 dayFan does not spin on its own. Needs a tap to jump start it, so I wouldnt trust it if the device is power cycled.

> 3 dayI replaced a power supply fan with this units bigger brother, I installed this one today as a replacement for the hot-end fan in my 3D Printer. Yes, these fans make a huge difference in the sound level that was produced by those stock fans. In fact my 3D printer is no more than 2 feet behind me right now, and it is printing. However, the only noise Im hearing is the fan from my notebook!! Guess Ill have to replace it next.

Greater than one weekThis is the second time in my life that Ive bought this fan and this is the second time that the thing just didnt work out of the box. Being a technical person without having any time, Im guessing it doesnt work because the polarity is reversed. The first time I bought one was a few years ago and the fan just never worked. Im guessing the polarity was wrong and it had no protection. Oops. The second time, for another device, once again the fan doesnt work. Is it broken? Is it bad polarity? I dont know. I will have to start cutting cables to find out, I guess. No idea which cables to connect. Ill just take a wild guess and piss on it. The thing is, I dont want to have to do this. Aint nobody got the time.
