> 3 dayI bought a set of these to put into my Thermaltake Core V1 build. They are extremely quiet fans. The only thing that I honestly dont like about them is the look. That brown color really isnt that good to look at. I probably will end up swapping them out for some Chromax one, once they make them or I might go to a different brand all together. The fans themselves are great, just the overall look, not the greatest.

> 3 dayI have an older AMD Phenom II, running Linux. The fan finally died. It all still works, part of my home lab. Noctua 80mm fan was almost a perfect fit. Had to drill out the aluminum just a bit. Super quiet.

> 3 dayI built up a new system using an old case with space for only 2 80mm fans. I had only one cooler master stalled fan from 10 years ago trying to bring in fresh air and my new AMD 3800x and older 1060GT video card was overheating in the system. games were shutting down and failing right in the middle of rounds of CS:GO. I added this 80mm Noctua to bring in fresh air in the front of the case and flipped the weaker fan to exhaust. The noctua moves more air and is quieter than the old coolermaster, and have not had any issues with overheating the sytem. I wish I had gotten two Noctuas, or spent a bit more to upgrade the case and filled it with these quieter fans (and been able to move up to 120mm).

Greater than one weekIll keep it short: my computers stock fan was so loud, it was making the whole pc tower vibrate and caused a massive amount of noise. I can still remember the vibrations from my legs and arms making contact with the desk. I finally got tired of it and ordered this fan. It took about a minute to install and turn it on and that was that. No more noise. Its like its not even on. If I hadnt seen the blades spinning, Id think I got a dud. It also keeps the PCs temperatures far lower than the stock fan. All I can say is that Ill never go back to regular fans. Its that good.

19-12-2024Noctua fans are no joke. Fans quieter @ 2200rpm than some 140mm @1300rpm.

18-12-2024Yes, it is a tiny beast. Installed on a side panel directly above my Ryzen 1600 and it dropped 5 degrees while idle and 8 under load using the Wraith Spire. Mostly quiet operation. Construction feels solid.

Greater than one weekThis fan is performing as expected; it is virtually silent. Lots of cheaper options out there, but you get what you pay. I have purchased several Noctua fans and cpu coolers, and am happy with all of them. No failures or other issue to date, and they are all whisper quiet.

> 3 dayLove these fans although they do not blow you away. They are silent and rarely spin up enough for to be heard. Great quality.
