Loud. Like 60 decibels loud. Be careful

Not sure if I got a faulty fan or not never had issues with Noctua in the past but compared to my Cougars and Noctua heatsink fan this one gives off an annoying buzzing sound. The blades themselves are fine as long as you keep them under 1,500 rpm for an industrial level case fan. Dissapointed.

Power and near silence. Replaced some SP120 PWM with these and these are much quieter at full speed. These fans also lowered the temps in my rad loop by 5 degrees. Gotta love em.

so i ordered this because the other 140mm fan was too large to go up front on my NH-D15 cpu cooler, all the reviews says its very quit, well my fan must be faulty because it starts of quit but after pc boots up to windows it goes to full speed and is very loud, its the only fan i can hear, if you use the noise canceling adapter the fan wont run at all, contacted noctua support and havent heard from them back yet, i am hoping its just the fan and maybe i can get it replaced.

These are great, heavy duty fans, they are just LOUD. I got a jet engine in my room now!

Setup my first watercooling build and these fans are amazing. Around 1.1-1.2k rpms and keeps my gpu cool at 26c idle on 23c ambient. I ordered the white chromax vibration pads and it’s amazing.

Completely undetectable sound while running at 2000rpm. Put it on an H80iGT and knocked 10 degrees off my CPU temp over the stock fan.

As advertised, these are industrial fans, built for what Noctua has determined to be challenging cooling climates made for servers. As such, at full power, these fans do sound like a moderately loud jet engine. I bought 6 for my case and my computer now seems like an extremely loud jet engine when I crank my fan controller up to 100%. I do not regret buying these at all however as they move massive amount of air at even the slowest setting. Gaming with these on has been a breeze (more like a hurricane) as I can keep temperatures at a very manageable setting. All of these fans are PWM and have the ability to be controlled through temperature sensors if you should so choose so.
