I got exactly what I expected. These are the first Noctua fans I’ve ever purchased (bought 3).

Way better than stock. Put it on my water cooling to replace the squealing factory corsair fans.

Quality is not cheap. You get your moneys worth when you buy quality rather than price.

I bought this to replace the free NZXT fan in my PC case. I have zero complaints about the NZXT one, but needed a fan for a project, so I naturally decided to upgrade my NZXT. OOPS. I installed it, went into the BIOS and switched to PWM, ran a calibration on the fan, and rebooted. It was SO LOUD. It vibrated, buzzed, and was 5x louder than the free NZXT one! I have never heard a fan so loud. Then I opened Solidworks and put the PC to work. It got WAY LOUDER. OMG. I returned that sucker ASAP.

Power and near silence. Replaced some SP120 PWM with these and these are much quieter at full speed. These fans also lowered the temps in my rad loop by 5 degrees. Gotta love em.

Quiet, well built, and cools my CPU on a Hyper 212 Evo better than the Cooler Master fan it replaced. Did I mention its quiet? You cant hear this thing over a WD Black when its on near-full rev from a normal distance from the computer. Id highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet, well built fan who doesnt mind paying the slightly steeper price. Worth every penny.

Great fan! Easily outpaces the NZXT one I had in there, and its much quieter to boot. Only problem was I couldnt plug it into my video card pwm connector and had to plug it straight into my mobo for the pwm to work. No big deal, so not knocking any stars off.

Great fan. Its a bit louder than the Hyper 212 EVOs default fan, though. It has better air flow for sure.
