Noctua NF-P14s redux-1200 PWM, Quiet Fan, 4-Pin, 1200 RPM (140mm, Grey)

Amazing !!!

At 1200RPM these have noticeably more airflow than my 1400RPM Thermaltake Riing 14s. They are definitely quieter and seem to scale down better at auto speeds and manage more consistent airflow. They dont have quite as much static pressure, but as unrestricted exhaust fans I dont need much. That said these have a lot more static pressure than a lot of other 1200RPM low noise case fans.

While I was drawn to these fans at first for their affordability and quietness, I have since learned my lesson. Be warned: these fans are a pain to install and a pain to get working. Firstly, the mounting holes on these fans have never been threaded, you have to do this yourself (Which is never detailed to you, might be an industry practice, no idea). This only occurred to me after I found the installation instructions on a forum. There is no manual that comes with the product, and there is no manual for these case fans on the website. Finally, once getting the fans installed, their PWM functions would not operate, no matter how I integrated them into my fan controller. While the fans are quiet running at their base setting, they move almost no air, enough to be outmatched by a single 120mm stock case fan. While this may have just been a fluke on the part of Noctua, both of the 140mm fans I purchased showed the same issues. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to purchase these fans should find a different brand or model for any computer build.

I come from using Corsair fans and this Noctuas are far better in the noise department.

Works great once properly set via Bios. Make sure to set it as PWM. Set RPM based on temps.

These fans are great! I replaced my phanteks stock fans with these and wow they are quiet. Paired these up with my be quiet shadow wings 2 and can only really hear the fans if I put my ear up to them. At full speed there is of course some sound but nothing crazy.

I love these fans. I replaced the one factory exhaust fan from my case and two fans from my AIO cooler in a pull configuration. They work great in push as well due to their fin design. My CPU temps dropped by about 7C on average and noise went considerably down. I have my computer on my desk top next to me and I cant hear the fans while Im playing games.
